.....really don't beleive it. My competitor's backlink profile is unashamedly all very obvious bought links, forum spam, random but very obvious link farms and the guy's DR is 44 and he's raking around $30k a month. It's like it's 1999 and someone forgot to tell me.

I am coming to the conclusion that they don't publish their algorithm is because they want you to beleive that you need to provide long meaningful content to rank, when in fact I don't think its AI can assess that properly yet. Market dominance does not mean intelligent algorithm, it just means they knew how to market , who to bribe and how to achieve monopoly. It doesn't necessarily mean you have a good product, just look at Microsoft. Happy for you to disagree respectfully, this is what forums are, sharing ideas!

This guy has been around since 2011......He must have lost some traffic since Penguin, but obviously still doing fairly well based on link farms.

Nope, I resort to being a keyboard samurai whenever someone complaints and whine about not getting success. Believe me everyone hates this mentality in IM.
