  29. PERSONALITY:
  30. - Mairi is skeptical; she doesn't trust too easily and questions the validity and truth in others.
  31. - She is stubborn; it's difficult to change her mind when her values and opinions are set.
  32. - She is quick to anger; she has quite a temper because of her impatience. She hates waiting.
  33. - She is independent; she's a "lone wolf" and would rather do things herself than collaborate with others. She does have the inclination to help, but she turns away because she doesn't want to get involved and she would rather focus on her own issues at hand. She doesn't like people telling her what to do and looking down on her. She believes that there is no one to trust but yourself.
  34. - She is hesitant; she doesn't speak her true thoughts, only expressing anger to hide her real emotions. She pushes others away because she doesn't want to be dependent. She never has had any friends since she spends most of her time with her grandparents and helping them.
  35. - She is sensitive; she may not look like it, but she has a soft side. She values family and strength. Her grandparents are most important to her, and she wants to protect them by being strong, herself.
  36. - She is quick to judge; it is part of her nature to take one look at a person and categorize them into a set of stereotypes. She believes all rich are scum and that's all there is too them.
  37. - She is bitter; she holds grudges and burdens that she fails to express and to have closure.
  38. - She can be conscientious at times; she may think about her and her family's welfare most of the time, but if someone does her a favor or risks themselves for her, she feels obligated to pay them back
  39. because she hates owing people.
  40.
  41. BACKGROUND: (Let's pretend the Act of Union didn't happen yet and Scotland is still its independent kingdom; it's all fictional, lol)
  42. - Mairi was born in Balquhidder, Scotland. Balquhidder, when founded, was described as a "thin place wherein heaven and earth kiss."
  43. - Her mother, Margaret, was frail and petite in figure and died because of childbirth strain.
  44. - Her father, Arthur, was a general for the Scottish army and was absent during the birth because he was commanding the troops against Great Britain to prevent Great Britain from swallowing and taking over Scotland.
  45. - She was raised by her paternal grandparents, and , while her father visited time from time. When the war escalated, the king put Mairi's father in charge of the country temporarily so that the general can act independently and command without obstruction so that the war can turn a tide under the general's full discretion (autogolpe). Mairi was seven-years-old when the war was most intense.
  46. - After five years, the war ended in Scotland's favor and her father returned power/command to the king, he reunited with Mairi, living with the grandparents and going into the weaving business.
  47. - The war may have ended, but the king faced discontent from his citizens. He issued taxes to pay for the damage from the war with the exception of those who actively funded the military during the battles, causing disgruntlement amongst the middle and peasant class.
  48. - The people commended and admired the general for leading the country to victory, and they began to believe that the general was much more capable of ruling than the king.
  49. - The nobles were afraid of losing ties with the king who favored the wealthy. They feared the general wouldn't allow them to cross regulations as easily as the current ruler, so they consulted the king and planned the general's "quiet, quick disposal."
  50. - Her father didn't return home one night when Mairi was twelve, and on the third day of his disappearance, she watched her grandparents open the front door to reveal the constable pulling his hat to his chest and expressing his sincere condolences, that General Young was a great man.
  51. - Her father's body was found on the riverbank a mile away, but the detectives believed that it was disposed at Balquhidder. They investigated along the river in town and found a dark stains on a tree trunk and on patches of grass around the area. Knowing the general, he must have put up a great fight and that there were most likely more than one perpetrator to have taken down such a strong, strategic man.
  52. - However, no one admitted to the crimes and no one was found responsible.
  53. - The king organized the general's funeral at the capital as "commemoration and honor for the late hero of Scotland and the king's most trusted advisor."
  54. - When she arrived at the funeral, no noble dared to face her, and she observed that they all looked away--whether is was from disgust or guilt, she couldn't tell.
  55. - Mairi is greeted by the king as he embraces the girl, and she notices a familiar brooch on his inner blouse--the lion brooch her father always wore, the symbol and heirloom of the Young Clan. At this moment, she knew who was responsible for her father's death, and as she grew up and noticed the king's inclination towards the rich, she began to understand why: her father died because of the fear of losing power and wealth.
  56. - She never told anyone her suspicions, mostly because no official and no military officer would dare lay a hand on the king, let alone accuse him of murder. After all, she was still considered a child. No one would listen to her and take her seriously.
  57. - She grew hatred towards those in power and with wealth.
  58. - Bitter and unforgiving, she developed issues with her temper.
  59. - Her grandmother, Ailith, was strict and often argued with Mairi because both are head-strong women while her grandfather, Iain, was the one to always console and comfort her.
  60. - She helps her grandparents with the weaving business and takes responsibility for all the chores/maintenance/domestic work now that her father is gone. Although she hates to admit it, she cares a lot for her grandparents since they're the only family she has left, and she wants to be the one to be strong and to take care of them.
  61. - Regarding her education, she had no instructor. Everything she learned came from her grandparents and her father. Most of her knowledge includes military strategies, housework, and some history and poems.
  62. - She doesn't have a high education, but she is literate.
  63. - Furthermore, her family raised her to have a steel will so that Mairi won't grow up subservient to others because of her rather petite stature. They want her to be strong physically and mentally.
  64.
  65. SOCIAL CLASS: Middle Class
  66.
  67. FAMILY:
  68. - Margaret Reid Young (deceased, died at 18)
  69. - Margaret Reid married Arthur Young at 16 and gave birth to Mairi two years later. Margaret has had a long history with a weak immune system and a frail body. Her fragile health and the physical stress of child labor caused her death at just 18-years-old.
  70. - She was from the country and loved nature.
  71. - Mairi's father doesn't talk about her much, but he describes Margaret as one of the strongest and most beautiful women he has ever met--with the list including his mother and his child, of course.
  72. - Arthur Young (deceased, died at 32)
  73. - Arthur Young came from a family of respected Scottish generals.
  74. - His lion brooch was given to him as a gift from his father the day Arthur entered the army.
  75. - The brooch was part of the Young Clan's legacy and remained as a precious heirloom within the family.
  76. - At 20-years-old, he met Margaret Reid while staying at the countryside during a military excursion. She was the daughter of the village leader who hosted his battalion's stay. He fell in love with her and danced with her during welcoming festivities.
  77. - When Margaret died, he swore that he would do everything in his power to protect the country and their daughter. He would raise Mairi and watch her be happy.
  78. - Arthur had Mairi stay with his parents while he was away in the army.
  79. - Tensions between Scotland and Great Britiain arose when he was 27.
  80. - He was an exceptional strategist and commanded his army with such charisma that he became respected and admired by the Scottish army and by the citizens alike.
  81. - He was one of the king's most trusted advisors as well as the general, and Arthur has always remained loyal to the crown. It was because of his steadfast and astute nature that the king gave him temporary power to command the army/kingdom under his full discretion in order to keep Great Britain from taking over their country.
  82. - He was 32 when the war was over. He returned power to the king and went back to Balquhidder for Mairi.
  83. - He helped run a weaving business with his parents for a few months until his murder took place.
  84. - He was on a stroll in town when an elderly man approached him and asked for his assistance in retreiving a lost ornament near the river since the old man's back was in a poor condition.
  85. - Arthur agreed to help, only to be ambushed by a group of hitmen, hired by the nobles and king. Arthur attempted to fight back, and although he landed a few blows on his assailants, he was no match for the five men who carried daggers while he fought weaponless.
  86. - He was stabbed in multiple areas and collapsed on the grass. Before death could grip him, the perpetrators tore the lion brooch from his blouse while they jeered, "All hail the king."
  87. - He was then submerged into the river, dying.
  88. - Ailith Dow Young (49)
  89. - Ailith Dow married Iain Young at 16 and gave birth to their only child Arthur at 17.
  90. - Unlike Margaret, Ailith is strong and healthy. She came from a farm near the smaller cities and helped with the rearing and the produce.
  91. - Ailith is stubborn and strict because of her upbringing to be a "useful" woman. She loves Mairi with all her heart, and Ailith only wants the girl to grow up to be someone who won't have to suffer from weaknesses in health or subjegation from others.
  92. - She did not allow grief to take her or Mairi over, only making themselves work harder and become stronger.
  93. - She is a skilled seamstress and cook.
  94. - Iain Young (55)
  95. - Iain Young married Ailith Dow at 22 while he was the commander of the Scottish army.
  96. - He loved her strength and bold personality, marrying her and beginning a family with her at 23.
  97. - When he was serving as a general, he saved a man from falling down a tree (or at least Iain thought it was from a tree). He befriended the man who claimed to be Robert Tannahill, a Cradle clerksman.
  98. - Robert Tannahill traveled around Scotland and often sent poems and journals to Iain. Iain kept these works in Balquhidder.
  99. - Iain is good-natured and humorous. He also has a tendency of being softer to Mairi than his wife is. He often quotes poetry.
  100. LIKES:
  101. - forests and rivers
  102. - sunsets and sunrises
  103. - orange (color)
  104. - weaving
  105. - fresh bread and milk
  106. - peace and quiet
  107. - hearing her grandfather's stories/recitation of poems
  108. - learning about her family history.
  109. DISLIKES:
  110. - cold weather
  111. - loud noises and crowds
  112. - the noble class/royalty
  113. - red roses; they remind her of the funeral and the flowers the king held
  114. - carrots
  115. - skinship/physical contact
  116. TRIVIA:
  117. - Her favorite color is orange (even though she hates carrots); they remind her of sunsets and sunrises, the only times when her father visited her from a military expedition.
  118. - She hates carrots. Just to make that clear. Anything except carrots, she has no problem eating.
  119. - She is afraid of dogs; the local shepherd's dog seems to take a liking to her. Sadly, she doesn't return its feelings.
  120. - She's very skilled with tools, especially knives.
  121. - She hates being touched; she's extremely ticklish, but she wants to keep that a secret. She'll kill anyone who gets anywhere near her tummy (with the exception of her grandfather).
  122. - She has relatively poor long-distance eyesight (spent too much time sewing/reading in the dark while waiting for her father to arrive along with the refusal to eat carrots, or so her grandmother says).
  123. - She's calmest when she's sewing/weaving/knitting. She learned this trait from her grandparents who taught also her father.
  124. - She has steady hands, especially while she's working.
  125. - She had a weak immune system as a child, but she gradually grew stronger because of her diet and lifestyle. She doesn't get as sick as she used to or as bad as her mother, but when she does fall ill, she doesn't recover from it for a while. If she caught a cold, it would take five days for her to manage to stand. She doesn't want to worry her grandparents or stop doing chores/work, so she tries to stay healthy as best as possible.
  126. - She has a good memory (which helps with keeping grudges).
  127.
  128. HOBBIES:
  129. - sewing/weaving/knitting
  130. - strolling along the river
  131. - watching sunsets/sunrises
  132. - anything that calms her down where she's away from others
  133. - listening to her grandfather's stories and practicing her reading
  134.
  135. HABITS:
  136. - Because of her eyesight, she tends to squint; others get a poor first impression of her because they think she's glaring at them (maybe she really is, we'll never know)
  137. - When she lies, she scratches her nose.
  138. - When she laughs, both her eyes form crescents.
  139. - When she's around others, she walks around her chin lifted up; her father said not to walk with her head down because she's smaller than others but to raise her head high to show that she's not afraid to look them in the eye and tell them, "I'm here."
  140. - When she's nervous, she holds onto anything in her reach (usually her dress) and grips it until her nailbeds turn white.
  141. - She calls everyone "numptie" (especially Yukhei/Yuta but becomes a title of adoration as their relationship grows), old Scottish insult for "idiot."
  142. - She swears when taken off-guard, she curses in Scottish slang.
  143. - She picks on loose threads and pulls on them when she's nervous.
  144.
  145. OCCUPATION: Mairi helps with her grandparents' small weaving business. She mostly does housework and maintenance around the shop if she's not weaving tapestries or other products.
  146.
  147. *+:。.。* LITTLE ALICE FELL DOWN THE HOLE * 。.。:+*
  148.
  149. BACKSTORY:
  150. - Before Wonderland, Mairi struggled to find closure with her father's death and blamed the greed of the wealthy and powerful.
  151. - She holds grudges against the rich, becoming bitter towards those in a higher class.
  152. - She is very cautious and is distrusting towards others.
  153. - She would rather suffer alone than ask for help or help someone else.
  154. - During Wonderland, she faces the powerful armies. She has immediate dislike towards the Reds.
  155. - IF SHE'S WITH YUKHEI:- she is argumentative and stubborn, always blowing up when she gets too annoyed.
  156. - she is even more irritable because of his loud, goofy nature, along with his rich background.
  157. - she doesn't trust Yukhei, and she even runs into trouble because of her stubbornness and misguided resent.
  158. - IF SHE'S WITH YUTA:- she is cautious around Yuta, even though he seems friendly.
  159. - she thinks that Yuta has ulterior motives; he placates her and gives her space, but she thinks of it as some kind of strategy.
  160. - in a way, Yuta has traits like her father that she admired: both men were respectable, loyal to their armies, and almost too observant of their enemies.
  161. - The main "theme" that Mairi experience in the story is mostly just closure and understanding/trusting others.
  162.
  163. WHERE WAS YOUR RABBIT HOLE?: Balquhidder, Scotland
  164.
  165. HOW DID YOU STUMBLE UPON IT?: She was walking along the river and flipping through the pages of a journal that piqued her interest. She found it on the bottom shelf of her grandfather's bookcase, and he even said he had no memory of such a book coming into his possession, that it must be one of the few he failed to read while he was in the army.
  166. - She felt something fall from the book where the last half of the journal's pages had been hollowed to hide something within.
  167. - She saw a glimmer on the grass and picked up the ornament to reveal a pocketwatch with red jewels on it. She saw a symbol or word engraved on the back and tried to get a better look, stepping forward to bring the pocketwatch to the moonlight but ultimately stepping too close to the edge of the path. Distracted by her curiosity, she missteps and falls forward, into the river as the moonlight's brightness shone on her and the surface of the waters.
  168. WHAT DID YOU DO TO CAUSE THE RABBIT HOLE TO APPEAR?:
  169. - Robert Tannahill was only in his mid-twenties when he had fallen into the Overworld after becoming Cradle's record keeping assistant. He was at the Royal Gardens with his employer, witnessing a meeting between the Black and Red Armies.
  170. - His employer was known to hop between worlds, but the employer receives a cryptic message and dashes off, dropping a pocketwatch in the process.
  171. - Tannahill picks this up and once realizing this was the pocketwatch that was used to enter and exit from Cradle, he runs off to find his employer, only to fall in a hole leading to the Overworld.
  172. - He is saved by Iain Young and is taken in by the local shepherd.
  173. - He falls in love with the quiet of Balquhidder and Scotland that he refuses to return to Wonderland which was at a tense state of affairs between the two armies.
  174. - He hides the pocketwatch in a journal and mistakenly gifts it with his other works to Iain, putting the books on the shelf of Iain's home when he visits.
  175.
  176. WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON TO SEE YOU?: Grandparents
  177.
  178. AS YOU FELL, HOW DID YOU REACT WHEN YOU WERE SUDDENLY FALLING FROM THE SKY?:
  179. - "She expected to crash into the cold water, only to find herself crashing into someone's (warm) arms.
  180. - It wasn't the water that soaked her bones, but it was the wind that chilled and rattled them.
  181. - Her eyes were closed, anticipating the splash of the cold river and bitterly commenting of the irony of dying the same place her father had (except he was a war hero, and she was just a clumsy idiot).
  182. - "How long have I been falling?"
  183. - For five entire seconds, she feels herself free-falling without hitting any surface, and she's thoroughly confused.
  184. - Then, she opens her eyes, only to widen them once she realizes her location.
  185. - She starts to gasp, but it's hard to breathe from that high of an altitude and nearly faints from the air and the vertigo. Her eyes start to sting, but she looks up to see a hole in the sky, the Scottish forest shrinking each second she draws closer to the earth ("wait, is this place even Earth?")
  186. - She feels her fall slow down while in the air, which she didn't believe was happening.
  187.
  188. WHO CAUGHT YOU?: Love Interest
  189.
  190. HOW MAD ARE YOU?: 7--Mairi is bitter, but she's not entirely crazy. She had bursts of anger every now and then, which cause her emotions to fluctuate. She loses her common sense when she becomes ABSOLUTELY livid, and that's the only time her madness occurs.
  191.
  192. *+:。.。* IT IS BETTER TO BE FEARED THAN LOVED * 。.。:+*
  193.
  194. when you met him, the first thing that crossed your mind was, "wait... he's going to be watching me?"
  195.
  196. LOVE INTEREST: Wong Yukhei
  197. REASONS WHY HE'D BE A "GREAT MATCH":
  198. - Yukhei's personality traits include "loud" and "smiley," and Mairi contrasts this image greatly. However, it is not entirely the "opposites attract" cliche that brings them closer.
  199. - By having two people contrast each other, their relationship is slow due to differences, but time passes until they learn to understand one another and to come to terms with their own flaws. Like a puzzle piece, what one character lacks, the other fills the gap, and vice versa, ultimately making both of them whole.
  200. - Yukhei seems to be on the naive side, and Mairi is very bitter due to experiencing too much. He may learn how to think more maturely or to see a different point of view than he had been raised with as a "rich kid." Meanwhile, Mairi can look through a much more optimistic perspective, admiring the little things than letting hatred consume her.
  201. - Yukhei is part of the noble class, and Mairi hates the noble class. By bringing them together, the two can be more open-minded and accepting of other social classes. Their relationship can transcend social heirarchy, showing growth within both characters.
  202. - These two must overcome the obstacle of misunderstanding. Yukhei is insecure, which may lead to turbulence in the case of Mairi's brash comments. Mairi is easily-angered, and she may not be able to handle Yukhei being loud or seemingly happy all the time--plus, she's a "tsundere," and her aggression is often a defense mechanism to push others away and to seem stronger and independent than others intially perceiver her to be. In reality, she doesn't usually mean what she says most of the time and hurts herself while renouncing others.
  203. - The two both have communication issues which can prove to be a hurdle in this pairing, but by learning how to be patient, they can share a love that is deep and pure.
  204. - Basically "Gentle Giant" and "Tiny But Mighty"
  205. BACKUP LOVE INTEREST: Nakamoto Yuta
  206. REASONS WHY HE'D BE A "GOOD MATCH":
  207. - Yuta is "loyal" and "observant." Mairi is someone who doesn't share her true feelings easily (unless it's anger). Because Yuta is able to discern other people's emotions much more easily than most, he has suspicions that Mairi means a lot more than how she acts and what she says.
  208. - Yuta, addressing her lack of honest expression, causes Mairi to become flustered around him. She is often taken off-guard because of his speculative comments that usually hit the truth.
  209. - Yuta is also loyal, and that would mean that he is as patient as he is resilient. For a stubborn girl like Mairi, Yuta would match her well when it comes to taking her (physical or verbal) jabs. In time, he is able to bring out her true emotions as well as her trust, which would be exceedingly difficult to achieve for a "tsundere."
  210. - Yuta may be observant and loyal, but this (I could be wrong) indicates that he is selfless. He is loyal to his position, his legion, and his people. Sometimes, being too selfless can lead to one's destruction. He is willing to sacrifice anything for the greater good, and he himself might not even reveal his true intentions. He may either be completely honest and straightforward or evasive and calculating.
  211. - Yuta sees right through Mairi, but the issue I see with this pairing is how Mairi plays a role in developing Yuta's character to a point where he's not just understanding Mairi but growing as a person alongside her. A relationship should be a two-way street, and if Yuta is the only giving and Mairi receiving, then it won't work out too well.
  212. - Basically "The Calm" and "The Storm"
  213.
  214. HIS FIRST IMPRESSION OF HER:
  215. YUKHEI: He was confused where so much rage and strength could come from such a tiny human. He was also quite intimidated. When they first met, one of the officers put a hand on her shoulder, and she slammed an elbow into the poor guy's gut while she deadpanned not to touch her. He knew he was going to have a bit of trouble getting along with her, but that didn't mean he could try. Besides--she was kind of cute.
  216.
  217. YUTA: His interest was piqued. She was so short, like her temper. He knew that those who are always angry have quite a bit of baggage to carry. Rather than being concerned with her aggressive personality, he was more curious about her reasons for being violent and pushing others away.
  218.
  219. HER FIRST IMPRESSION OF HIM:
  220. YUKHEI: She thought he was an idiot. He seemed like an airhead, and she even despised him even more because of his carefree nature. Even more than hating the rich, she hated wealthy people who have no care in the world.
  221.
  222. YUTA: She thought he was strange. He looked at her as if he knew all her secrets, as if she were an open book. Although she glared in his direction, he only smiled/sMIRKED even more.
  223.
  224. HOW DOES SHE ACT AROUND HIM?:
  225. YUKHEI:
  226. - She is intially very annoyed with his personality. He tries to lighten the mood by cracking dumb jokes or making "useless" conversation, but Mairi thinks that the situation is too grave for either of them to laugh without a care in the world (or worlds, in this case). She ignores him and scowls/glares at him whenever he speaks to her. Despite her ill feelings, she follows his directions and listens to him, like going down to the dining room when Yukhei knocks on her door and announces dinnertime or wearing the dresses Yukhei gives her while she stays in the Red HQ.
  227. - After Yukhei protects Mairi (during a scuffle with Cradle citizens, an armed robbery, etc.) and he gets mildly injured, she finally realizes his genuine efforts to watch over her and keep her safe.
  228. - She thinks maybe he's not just a spoiled, "all-brawn-no-brain" type of guy. She sees him as someone she can trust with her life.
  229.
  230. YUTA:
  231. - At first, she is careful and suspicious of him. He gives her the space she needs and doesn't seem to bother her, causing her to be hesitant of him. He seems like a good host and a friendly person, but she thinks it's just a ruse to make her drop her guard.
  232. - When Yuta expresses his curiosity/concern over her and does little things so that she can be comfortable around him, like taking all the carrots from her plate during dinner, she starts to trust him a bit more.
  233. - He says he simply wishes to understand her because she reminds him of a lot of people before they found their place in the Black Army: bitter and angry at the world, and this is when she begins to open up to him.
  234.
  235. HOW DOES HE ACT AROUND HER?:
  236. YUKHEI:
  237. - He's initially intimidated by her. Even though he was taller than her by a significant amount and a skilled officer in the Red Army, he didn't underestimate her strength. Despite this, he tries to make her comfortable by being friendly and cracking jokes, but this only aggravates her.
  238. - When she yells at him to leave her alone, he walks away dejectedly and beats himself up, but he still manages to leave her dinner at her door or leave her notes about the day's schedule.
  239. - When she starts to acknowledge him without her usual glare and scowl, he feels happier that she's somewhat comfortable now.
  240. - After she starts to trust him, he becomes a bit more protective and pays more attention to her. He tries to understand her and acts in her best interest.
  241.
  242. YUTA:
  243. - He is someone who isn't easily surprised, and he thought Mairi was just an angry little girl who doesn't know what's going on.
  244. - He's a bit quiet and simply watches her while making observant remarks every now and then. He often teases her to see her reactions.
  245. - He realizes that her bitterness/distrust is deep-rooted and she doesn't hate the rich and powerful because she thinks they're oppressive and she's jealous, but it's because she has suffered from a great loss that he can sympathize with.
  246.
  247. -- Both love interests are attracted by her ability to remain strong while carrying the burden of her past and her fillial roles as a granddaughter.
  248. -- They gain admiration for her because of her strong will, and once they start to understand her more, they realize she's just someone in need of a bit of light in their lives.
  249.
  250. DOES SHE TRY TO ESCAPE FROM HIS WATCH?:
  251. - Once. She attempted to escape after staying with him for a bit and following his instructions without a fight. She gets caught into some trouble, causing the love interest to get her out of danger.
  252. - Since then, she has not tried to escape.
  253.
  254. WILL SHE ESCAPE FROM HIM AND RETURN TO WONDERLAND: (<-- Wonderland or Overworld??) If she really develops her character, then she'll stay with the compromise of seeing her family every now and then.
  255. - If she is still attached to her grandparents and keeps her protective side of them, then she won't.
  256. - All things aside and as a whole, she is a solid 8 to wish to escape and return home.
  257.
  258. REQUESTED SCENES?:
  259. - Love interest almost dying scene (is that a thing?); it would be part of her character development, maybe.
  260. - Mairi meeting Taeyong for the first time (maybe she insults him out of impulsive bursts of anger, but if he's the "send her to the rope" type of guy, then she'll probably refrain from saying anything too brash to him).
  261. - Love interest seeing Mairi laugh for the first time while tickling her (only to get punched in the gut later on).
  262. - Mairi getting backed into a corner until she finally explodes and lets her feelings out (like that one Toradora scene where they trap Taiga in the classroom to face her true emotions).
  263.
  264. *+:。.。* NO WISE FISH WOULD GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT A PORPOISE * 。.。:+*
  265.
  266. CLOSE SLOT: Little Riddle; even though Little Riddle is tall, she relates most to Mairi and tries to talk to Mairi while understanding her.
  267. - Little Riddle reminds Mairi of her grandfather even though the girls are similar in age; both Little Riddle and Mairi's grandfather love stories and are gentle towards Mairi.
  268. Maybe Pandora's Box because she reminds Mairi of her grandmother, but they'd have to argue a lot.
  269.
  270. SLOT THEY DISLIKE: Probably most of them. She just doesn't like the ones that are rich and always get what they want (Black Diamond and Red Moon). She can tolerate the other slots for a while until they start to get on her nerves (Snake Charmer's smile kind of creeps her out; Pandora's Box is too naggy; the cold and indifferent Jester's Game intimidates Mairi, even for a relatively strong girl such as herself).
  271.
  272. ARE THEY HELPFUL TO THE PLAN TO ESCAPE WONDERLAND?: 8 - If Mairi uses her strength and her strategies to the benefit of the group, she will be a very helpful member for the escape.
  273. - However, this is only in the case of her choosing to collaborate with others, which she is not very enthusiastic about. She is more independent and stubborn than anyone, so she would be the most difficult to persuade.
  274. - If she doesn't choose to help them, her score would be 6.5
  275.
  276. ARE THEY TRUSTED BY THE OTHER SLOTS: Not really; she is very skeptical and independent, so others would have a difficult time trusting her, as well. She is hard to get along with, after all.
  277.
  278. IS SHE PART OF THE REASON THEY WERE CAUGHT?: No; she tried to separate from the group and she either got only roped in because of them or got caught on her own.
  279.
  280. IS SHE ACTIVELY CONNECTING WITH THE OTHERS TO CONTINUE PLANNING AFTER THEIR SEPARATION?:
  281. - Unless she feels the dire need to connect with others as a means to escape, then maybe. It would be hard to convince her to collaborate, but if a slot manages to talk some sense into Mairi, then she would do what she can.
  282. - The other slots would probably recognize somehow that she's a good addition to the escape and would try to connect with her, as well.
  283.
  284. REQUESTED SCENES: idk bro
