How Soulburst Works

Ynnari infantry and bikers and the Yncarne get to soulburst. If an enemy unit is completely destroyed within 7" of 1 or more units with this ability, excluding the morale phase, they can do the following:

* move as if it were the movement phase including advance and fall back
* cast a spell as if it were the psychic phase
* shoot even if it advanced or fell back this turn
* charge even if advanced for fell back (overwatch works as normal) unless they are within 1" of an enemy model
* fight as if it were the fight phase

A unit can do this stuff even if it did so as part of its normal activation in the same turn. HOWEVER

* A player can only soulburst on their own turn
* A unit can only soulburst once per turn
* You can only do each one of the soulburst actions once per turn

Shining Spears Movement: A Very Special Episode of Touched by a Jetbike

Movement Phase
Base movement 16" + Auto Advance of 6"

Psychic Phase
Within 18" of psyker that rolls 7+ to cast Quicken bikes can move & advance again
Within 18" of psyker that rolls 8+ to cast Word of the Phoenix bikes can move & advance again. This counts as the units soulburst action. Yvraine gets +1 to cast

Soulburst

Remember that even if they move and advance twice via Quicken if they catch a soulburst trigger they can still move & advance, or fall back, or charge.

Quick Tip: Measure 51" from where they are and then 22" from there to see consider their options for falling back after shooting and/or punching a unit to death.
