  1. I started at this property in August of 2017. I’ve been here four years now, and my pay is still the same $8.75/hour as it was then. I’ve worked the Night Audit shift continuously since 2012, and have close to 20 years total service and hospitality experience. My work speaks for itself. It is well past time that my pay at least begin to reflect that experience.

  3. As it stands now, at that rate and no overtime, my life can be considered merely existing. I work, I go home, I eat, I sleep. Beyond internet and phone, there is absolutely no money for even the simplest of luxuries. I had to cancel my tv, USENET, and game subscriptions. Thankfully, utilities on my apartment are included, otherwise I’d be in dire straits indeed. That is no way to live.

  5. I appreciate everything you’ve done for me thus far. It is only fair that the appreciation be returned in kind.

  7. Working that extra day per week, and the eight hours of overtime pay that came with it, has left me with enough of a cushion each payday that those worries are greatly lessened. I can’t say I’m “comfortable,” but there is a significant load off my shoulders.
  8. By my calculations, converting that six nights per week to five comes to about $11.38 per hour. It’s more than the $10 per hour I was making at Ramada, but less than the $15 per hour politicians are pushing for. I think that’s a fair request.

  10. You’ve invested a lot in the building. It’s time to invest in the people.

  12. Thank you for your consideration.
