Background : Aceline lived a pretty normal childhood, though she does speak a shit ton of languages: Mandarin, French, English, and Korean. Her parents always spoke to the kids in Mandarin, so that's a given, and she lived in France. She learned English in school and Korean on her own. Aceline really fell in love with music when she was nine, after four years of learning piano (she started at five) and one of violin (she started at eight). She discovered Kpop when she was eleven and knew that that was something she wanted to do. Her parents were totally against it when she told them what she wanted when she was fifteen, because she'd excelled in school and had a relatively high IQ (she was really good at math and science), but they eventually relented when they saw how much she wanted it. Aceline is really close to her brothers because her parents worked a lot and didn't always have time for them. Because she doesn't have any sisters, she grew up to be more of a tomboyish girl, though she does retain a few girly traits as well.

Personality : Like I said above, Aceline is a pretty boyish girl as a result of living with only brothers. She's kinda loud and boisterous, and she's super funny and seriously sarcastic and sassy. She laughs a lot, and it's not a dainty laugh-- it's a snorting laughter that some people find annoying but she doesn't care. Aceline seems open, but she really doesn't talk much about herself-- she doesn't even realize this. It's not like she's insecure or anything, it's just that she doesn't really know how to talk about herself or her past, so she just makes a shit ton of sarcastic remarks at literally everybody. She's opinionated and intelligent and can discuss obscure, philosophical shit for hours at a time. She's also stubborn and doesn't give up her opinions easily. She doesn't really lose her temper easily but gets mad playfully (kinda like BTS Jin when Rapmon was 'upset' over getting squid snacks or something for Christmas from Jin). However, when she's really mad, she gets quiet and snappish and people should probably stay away or they'll get seriously roasted by her. She forgives quickly but doesn't forget like at all.

Bad side :
- when angry, she takes out her anger on anyone nearby
- kind of insensitive; doesn't always know when she's gone too far
- condescending sometimes; like she expects people to be at her level and if they don't know something, she'll be like "what, you don't know that??"
- gets jealous a little too easily but is pretty good at hiding it though

Apply : She was planning to go audition when she was eighteen and done with high school in France, but things didn't go as planned. She went to China in summer when she was seventeen to visit relatives and was casted when hanging out with a friend. Her parents let her go on the condition that she finish high school and go to college, so off she went to Korea.

Debut : Nope.

Opinions : She went on her own to Korea and thought it was hella awkward at first. She wasn't used to Korean culture and the formality, as she grew up in a Western country, and people thought her accent was weird. She wasn't completely fluent in Korean either. She finished high school because the company enrolled her in an international school and now goes to Seoul Institute of the Arts, and thus doesn't have a lot of time to interact with other trainees. She isn't totally alienated though; her Korean is much better now and she's known for jokes and sarcasm, even toward the coaches and on a rare occasion, Bang PD.

Reason : She really is itching to debut. Aceline wants to show everyone what she can do and prove to her parents that she's doing alright. Her bros are also her number one fans and she doesn't want to let them down.

Celebrity crush : Yoo Kihyun or Wen Junhui. She can't choose! She's in love with Kihyun's voice (Hyeya, man, when he sang that I cried) and the way he acts as a mom to his members but is also a savage hamster. For Jun, he's handsome as fuck and his dancing is incredible. She's just. So in love. He's so caring to his members and always does his best and takes care of The8 and just--

Ultimate bias : EXO Suho; he was the first idol that she ever biased and feels a special loyalty to him for that. She really respects him so much because he's the leader of EXO and held it together for the group even as three members left. She can't imagine his struggle, because even his fellow co-leader left (she doesn't hold anything against Krislutao though), and she admires him a lot for his strength and patience.

Role model : Zhang Yixing; he's the last remaining Chinese member of EXO and she wants his patience and strength. He's also a dancer, and she really aspires to be as good as he is.

Meet : All of the people mentioned above, as well as the rest of SEVENTEEN because she feels like she could get along well with them.

Embarrassment : Which one to choose? There are a lot hehe. Well, one time she made a hella sarcastic jab at Bang PD when she thought he wasn't there. Turns out he was walking up behind her and heard most of it. She didn't get into that much trouble, but she did have to clean out a couple of the training rooms as punishment. Another time she was talking to another trainee and started speaking in a mix of Chinese and French and didn't notice until the trainee stopped her.

Ideal type : Aceline's ideal type is someone that is caring but also isn't afraid to fight back. He shouldn't be weak, in her words. She wants someone who is just as or nearly as sarcastic as her and who will also make her laugh. Also, he shouldn't be judgmental, and he should be fucking LOYAL and intelligent, because she needs someone to indulge her strange thoughts on life.

Motivation : Dancing, singing, and music in general is what Aceline lives for. She doesn't want to end up teaching kids because she isn't good with them, and performing just really pumps her blood and it just feels great. It's been her dream, and she wants to achieve it.
