- Answer: Insubordination is the act of purposely disobeying the orders of a higher ranked official. It is not allowed in the SASD.
- Question nine: What is the difference between a felony and an infraction? (1 Mark)
- Answer: A Felony is a serious crime just as Murder that will get you Prison time, while an infraction is a minor offence such as speeding which is only ticket-able.

- Answer: A Misdemeanor such as: Murder, Robbery, Hostage taking, Withholding an illegal firearm, Arson, Kidnapping, Battery, Evading a Police Officer

- 4th - Call the SWAT if SEB is not available
- 5th - Wait for backup to arrive, if neither SWAT or SEB is available, ask permission to enter solo

- Answer: While you are arresting a person and taking that person in for questioning.
- Question eighteen: What would happen if you arrested a suspect without reading his/her Miranda rights? (1 Mark)
- Answer: Any information he gives about the crime cannot be used against him, he is let go, and you are fined/possible disciplinary actions.
- Question nineteen: Which steps should you take in order to go on and off duty? (2 Marks)
- Answer: Going on Duty - Enter the Ventrilo, Walk to the side of the HQ, type /acu, type /duty, radio dispatch that you are on duty and available.
- Question twenty : In the event a suspect unholsters a firearm and aims it at you, which steps would you take to incapacitate him? (2 Marks)
- Answer: 1st - Warn him to put away his weapon
- 2nd - If he does not comply, unholster your side-arm.
- 3rd - Shoot at the suspect until he is neutralized.
- Question twenty one: You're in a pursuit and you have a vehicular collision, your cruiser spins off the road, how would you handle this situation? (1 Mark)
- Answer: Either Roleplay the collision, or stand still while the rest of the cruisers pass you, and then rejoin the pursuit.
- Question twenty two: If you are in a pursuit, and you have a HSIU unit as your backup, what should you do in terms of which unit takes lead and which follows suit. (1 Mark)
- Answer: You should let the HSIU lead the pack and call out over the radio the location and heading of the suspect while you follow behind.
- Question twenty three: In a pursuit (assuming HSIU is not present) who updates the location and situation over the radio? (1 Mark)
- Answer: The unit who is leading the rest of the units.
- Question twenty four: You're patrolling alone and see a vehicle speeding. The driver is clean and doesn't evade - how would you conduct the pullover? (4 Marks)
- Answer: 1st - Pull up behind the driver
- 2nd - Wail your sirens a couple of times and turn on ELM
- 3rd - Call over the radio that you are performing a traffic stop, including your Callsign, the location, type of car, and the color of the car.
- 4th - Walk up to the driver side and ask for the driver's license and registration
- 5th - Take the papers back to the cruiser
- 6th - Type /mdc [Name/Id] to check for any previous criminal records
- 7th - Walk back to the car and issue the driver a ticket by typing /ticket [ID] [Fine]
- Question twenty five: Why is Ventrillo vital to the day to day running of the Sheriff Department? (1 Mark)
- Answer: It gives all units in the SASD a method of communicating in an efficient manner so that all sub-departments are organized in their respected channels.
- Question twenty six: How would you properly use the taser? (The command and the use of it) (1 Mark)
- Answer: You type /taser to equip it, and shoot the target. You should only shoot once every 2 seconds. Type /taser again to holster it.
