- [THE REVIEW]
- The third game in the series. I count this more as an expansion instead of a full game, even though it's full length.
- You play as Ezio Auditore instantly after you have spoken to Minerva and let Rodrigo Borgia live. You flee the Vatican and go back to Monteriggioni, where it seems as if you are in peace. The apple of Eden is safe with the Assassin order. But the decision to let Rodrigo Borgia live was a mistake, for he and his relative Cesare Borgia attacks Villa Auditore at Monteriggioni. Ezio tries to push back the troops, but to no use. Mario is killed in front of Ezio's eyes and the apple of Eden is once again in the Borgia's control.
- Ezio is angered, his uncle is dead and he now seeks revenge. But he also seeks to bring back order from the Borgia, the Templar. He travels to Rome, where he meets his old accomplice from the Assassin order.
- This time around, Ezio has lost his equipment once more. But, to his surprise, Leonardo has been taken by the Templar to Rome to work for them. Ezio is able to get his equipment back.
- This game has added much to the previous title. You are now able to save citizens and recruit them to the brotherhood of Assassins. These recruits can be used in battle or to kill your target.
- This time around, you don't have the economy of Monteriggioni to worry about anymore. Instead it's all of Rome. All the stores are opened if you buy them. Every store you buy gives you income. You can also buy historic buildings, which gives income, and you can even repair the aqueduct.
- You may also enter the Vatican, you help Leonardo destroy his machines, you have temples so you can unlock Brutus' armour and dagger.
- There's so much to do in Brotherhood, but that's only the side stuff. The main story line is fantastic too. It's intriguing, great voice acting and interesting characters.
- They also added the fantastic mode where you can have an alternative mission to get 100% synch, as to get more out of the game.
- Pros:
- Great story and characters
- Open world as all hell
- So much side stuff to do
- The recruits syste
- Synch rate
- Cons:
- Not much new in terms of climbing and fighting
- Desmond is still a bit annoying.
- [FINAL CONCLUSION]
- Great game. But if you are tired of AC2 already, then you may not want to get this, as it is basically AC2, just more open and a different story.
- [SCORE OUT OF 100]
- 85
- Could use a bit more new to it, in terms of climbing and fighting.
