  1. i heard about his death a bit after i sent the message form the site animenewsnetwork
  2. while i haven't seen saint seiya which i heard a lot of praising, i really liked the cutey honey tv adaption from 1973, especially by the way they adapted the designs from the manga and still keeping ecchi feel to it, considering the year i haven't seen too much of that especially from Toei productions.
  3.
  4. and yea i quite felt it in dancouga with western episode where the whole cast wearing cowboy hats and going to the saloon or even the episode that ryo used the dancouga with the whole kung fu.(oh, i loved that moments)
  5. also i guess its changed from show to show but one of the thing that always interest me its how the actual production process in the 80s and the 90s(cels era i guess) worked in term of process order and QC.
  6. i mean technology was much more manual than today, and i can imagine it was a bit tougher to mange in terms of work or even actual physical space.
  7. sadly not a lot of boxset here include extras on that, from time to time you see something like giant robo dvd release which includes some interview from the staff(which usually moving into silence on some scenes) and Patlaobr release, but i haven't seen it that much.
