♢  S P R I N G  D A Y  ♢

BACKGROUND |
	Lian and her siblings were born as witches and warlocks. Her mother's sides were slaves to European colonies traveling to America and were in what is now known as Salem. During the Salem Witch Trials her mother's families were blessed with the 'cursed' powers and were lucky enough to escape and be thought of as nothing more than just slaves. Hence why she is only half witch due to her father's side which is completely magic free. She was told at an age where she could understand that she and her brothers were witch due to her mother's side, but her mother's generation got skipped making her mother a human. Lian knew she was different when she didn't have control over her abilities and the only ones who were able to teach her and her brothers about what they are is their grandmother.
	The only daughter looked only to her father and mother the most. Her father had met her mother in Busan when her mother was studying abroad. After having all of them Lian lived in Busan until she was 11 when her powers were getting worse and she was losing more control unlike her brothers who were able to gain stability in their own. Her grandmother fell ill and was unable to continue teaching her granddaughter and her parents were desperate for the first time ever and sent young Lian to a boarding school in Marseille, France where she attended school and on weekends she trained to control her magical abilities. As weeks past she got a better understanding of her abilities and how strong she is. The one teaching her was a former friend of her grandmother who didn't mind teaching her.
	Growing up Lian despised the person she was and what she is and it's because she felt like she was ripped away from her childhood. For a majority of her childhood she was a very angered and spiteful child until she was disciplined properly by her teacher. Though it did change the person she was before she went to France as well.
	After graduating her final year of boarding school she moved back to South Korea to attend college, but was unable to stay with her parents and lived in Seoul. Her parents explained that it was for her own safety and her brothers suffered the same fate by being sent to different areas knowing that there are indeed witch hunters who still see her kind as a sin. Her parents hated the fact that they had to send their kids away, but it was until they were strong enough to defend themselves. She was able to return from France to Busan every few months, but not for a long period of time. Now she was able to see them whenever she wants.
	Her encounters with hunters ran deep from when she was just 16 and was slowly being hunted down causing her to leave Mersaille every once in awhile to survive. Her fear of the hunters grew worse to the point where she has anxiety and difficulty falling asleep in fear that they'll find her in the middle of her sleep and gets these night terrors sometimes. So she often has episodes but rarely does, but when it happens she loses control over her magic.
	She's currently in her last year of college staying in an apartment she shares with her brothers. Lian is majoring in Creative Writing and minoring in Psychology.
	She attended a boarding school and was quite lonely the first few weeks. The confident girl she usually is was gone the minute she arrived in France and was alone most of the time which really brought down her self esteem. In France she grew her love for writing and music to a deep extend, especially classical music which is surprising.

PERSONALITY |
	She grew up to be a very confident person because of her parents who always washed away her insecurities. Whenever she was down her parents were the type of people who assumed that people disliked Lian because she was too pretty or because she was so much better than them which grew her confident streak. Lian has always been taught to take the lead, her older brothers always stating that if no one does it than who would and that it was up to her to take on the task which proves her boldness. Lian grew up with her family morals implemented in her daily life, like she knew what was right and what was wrong from what she was taught as a children. Her boldness is sort of an intimidation factor because she's so willing and up for it. When strangers or people she doesn't really know challenge her she really thinks it's a challenge and is up for it. For those who she doesn't really know she has this sort of facade around her where she's all smirks and all talk, sort of like 'hey don't mess with me' type of vibe. It's mainly her walls building up to protect herself until she gets to know you better.
	Lian is very playful which explains her flirtatious side, but in reality it's also an act as well. See, she has never really dated anyone — unless you count a middle school relationship — but other than that she just has crushes and people who like her. Lian flirts with anyone regardless of gender and though it may make her look bad most of the time it's her showing her affection or how comfortable she is around said person. For instance if she were like to joke around and be like 'Babe don't be like that' it's her way of teasing and showing her affection towards the person.
	When they're on a mission or on fight mode she's almost like a whole different person. She is very much like an independent person who sometimes may seem like she can do fine on her own. She has the capability of making decisions on the spot / last minute with even considering all the consequences and what's best for the team. The one time she is ever dead serious is when it involves helping others and it's because she keeps in mind of everyone else around her before making a rash decision. But Lian isn't perfect, she does make mistake she does calculate everything and all the possibilities wrong and when things do go bad she puts herself in the blame. She tortures herself with the consequences to remind herself that she could've done better. Lian has a habit of reminding herself of what she did wrong and though it's a toxic thing she simply can't help it. The problem with having such confident and bold parents is that they're her role models and so when she makes a mistake she thinks it's all her fault, that she wasn't perfect enough.
	Lian is a listener type, the type to listen to whatever small or big problems you may have. She's the listening ear for others and to give amazing snuggles if they need it. Honestly the soccer mom of the bunch like cheers the heck out of her teammates / friends and if you offend them in the slightest bit she's cursing you out like a soccer mom. Often times she forgets to take care of herself and holes her emotions within her to the point where everything just hurts.
	She is a bold and strong girl, but not all the time.

	Yes, due to the fact that during the Salem Trials many still believed that there are still witches and many witches who escaped. There are hunters who are trained to hunt her kind and she needs to hide herself to protect herself. The only ones who know she is a witch is those associated with one (marriage, relationship, or family) and what not. She rarely practices her magic unless it's an emergency like finding someone or stopping a gunshot or something dangerous that needs a dire solution.

	I feel like she'd be close with Aqualad which may come as a shock, but it's because she admires his leadership and he treats her differently than how others would. It's more of like an older brother sister type of friendship because he reminders her of her older brothers.

	Well first off Wonho is the purest bean to ever live on this earth. He may look like a greasy charmer who's way too flirtatious, but not exactly. He's just an outgoing dork who loves to be around friends and sometimes hates to admit when he's feeling down. And honestly he may flirt a lot, but he's not good at dealing when people flirt with him. Like he freaks out like holy crap no this is my job and gets flustered, especially when it's someone he likes or someone he doesn't really know yet. Wonho is kind of like this very caring and understanding guy and is serious when it's necessary.

	Their relationships is very awkward in the beginning, like Lian is just flirting her cute little butt off, but Wonho was actually going to flirt with her first. And she beat him to it and he's just like flustered and sort of freaking out which is adorable. But when they do get down to business like actually doing group work or hero work they work really well with one another. Like she defends her or protects him whilst he's preparing for an offensive attack and sometimes they switch. A way their relationship worsens is that both refuse to admit when they're hurt or when they're emotionally down which frustrates the other. Also, another way is how he tries to protect her way too much which annoys her because she can handle herself. This is when their relationship is more of a close friendship. 	JB is in the same creative writing class with her and they were assigned for a project together. And they got closer after working together outside of school and often time he walks back to her apartment.

	Many people think that they're dating because of how much time they spend together. Honestly Lian sees JB as her only friend, like she does have friends, but outside of her crazy life he is the only one who doesn't know about her true nature. And he's very much like an overprotective brother, like he always asks who she's going out with or tells her how she should stop talking to guys she doesn't know and what not. He calls her up whenever girls are bothering him and she's like aight I gotchu bro.
