What's Wrong with Water?

"...So what's happening with the water again?" Toadette asked as she stretched her arms out.

"I already told you two," Gooper Blooper explained after giving away exposition for a couple of minutes. "The water is messed up?"

"...and it's messed up how?" Dry Bowser butted in as he folded his boney arms together.

"Because it must be an oil rig, or something!' Gooper snapped as he slapped both Dry Bowser and Toadette with his two tentacles. "All I know is that you two are always reliable, so I need you to go and see what it is!"

"And what if we refuse?" Dry Bowser remarked as he really wasn't looking forward to yet another stupid adventure.

Gooper sighed as he slammed all four of his tentacles together, prompting the group of Blooper squids surrounding Dry Bowser and Toadette to circle around the pair, then spray them with ink as Gooper smacked them with his tentacles, sending the duo high into the night sky and over the wooden boardwalk of the Cheep Cheep Beach into the water, with the Bloopers all cheering as Gooper hoped that this would ultimately convince them to help their cause.

"For the record, I blame you," Dry Bowser remarked bitterly to Toadette as they kept on sinking.

"But it wasn't my fault!" Toadette whimpered, with both of them heading into the deepest part of the sea, no light to be found anywhere.
