It doesn't show up half of the links i actually build. No tool is perfect and what really matters is what big G sees ;)
AHrefs is a crawler like Google Bot, but much worse... It should end showing those tumblr the sooner than later, but it may take it's time, especially if you have not indexed them from reputed sources...

I have some pages linking from tumblr that show up, but I'm not sure how much did it take. Maybe they have less priority for tumblr since it has been historically a plague of link spam.
Ahrefs does not show all link i to have experience it. Its not only about tumblr alot of links are there that ahrefs do not show. Now a days when i pull up report from ahrefs i see mostly blog links or comment links. I mean 70% blog or commenting then 15% Forum 5% directory 10% other.

How to Create a Successful Keyword Map

A great way to start your keyword mapping process is to identify the main categories that you need to track.

Start by asking the following questions.

Do I need to track multiple brands?
Do these brands offer the same products or services?
Does it make sense to separate these by geographic region?
Next, identify what your parent category will be. This can be a:

Specific brand.
Geographic area.
General product or service category.
Next, list out your subcategories and any necessary tertiary categories, if relevant.

This is where you will dive into your individual content silos.

One of the most important things to note here is that I keep all keywords in one column and use checkboxes to notate which category it’s assigned to.

I do this because some categories may share the same keywords.

However, the point of a keyword map is to reduce this as much as possible.
