  1. Idol Anime/Battle Highschool show in which the Battle of the Bands means real battles as Idol girls with superhuman abilities fueled by fame and the fervor of their fans duke it out to be the highest rated act in the country, but only one woman can stand athwart the Throne at Altimont. The Female lead, a Pyrokinetic who generates pure heat energy which she uses to create thermobaric explosions and to generate lift allowing her to swoop around in her idol costume's specially designed carbon-fiber wingsuit extensions, follows her dream of becoming "Number One, With a Bullet" by defeating her competition any way she can. Along the way she does battle with other bands, fights a bitter rival, falls in and out of love, and champions the power of Rock and Goddamn Roll, all set to a fucking blistering barrage of covers of classic 70's and 80's rock tunes.

  3. Each opening to the show would be different, highlighting the MC's band, Fire of Unknown Origin(Blue Oyster Cult cover band), versus one of her rival bands who each use different kinds of music, cold-opening into the battle proper for a few minutes, before flashing back to tell the story of how they got there. The ending theme would be Joan Jett's I Love Rock and Roll covered by Jam Project with Masami Okui on Lead Vocals.

  6. 1. Our tale opens with Fire of Unknown Origin in battle with Imaginos, MC's greatest rival as the city burns around them. As the two clash again and again MC, injured, takes cover with the band and reflects on what brought them to this point. Song Showdown: Dancin' in the Ruins versus Gates of Babylon(Rainbow)
  7.
  8. 2. MC, freshly graduated from Highschool, is unsure of her future. Not particularly adept at scholastics or athletics, the only thing she has going for her is her singing voice and of course her Pizazz which lets her create fire and heat. Not content to be just some strutting diva's backup dancer, she struggled to find a place until she heard it. The pure, perfect guitar coming from a ratty apartment on her way home. She stumbled into the band, Fire of Unknown Origin, struggling with its singer, soon to be her Rival. Utterly blown away by their sound, she begs for a chance to audition. Song Feature: I Am the One You Warned Me Of
  9.
  10. 3. Rival and MC clash immediately, but BD, the guitarist and band leader, offers her a chance: learn any one of their songs and come back in 24 hours and she can sing off against Rival. If the band likes her better, she's in. She wins the showdown, triggering Rival to demand of the group that if they let her in, she will leave. BD just says "You've always been free to do what you want." She vows revenge, and MC joins Fire. Song Showdown: Goin' Through the Motions vs Revenge of Vera Gemini
  11.
  12. 4. It's Fire of Unknown Origin's first battle concert with MC at the head... at a beach blanket festival in swimsuits. MC has to overcome her stage fright, her embarrassment at performing in a bikini, and fight off an opponent who controls water, a perfect storm of foils to her own abilities. Song Showdown: Perfect Water versus In The Summertime(Mungo Jerry).
  13.
  14. 5. MC's victory at the Beach Battle is the spark that ignites her burning drive. She knows now she'll never be content just scrambling with low stakes battle concerts... she and Fire of Unknown Origin are destined to be "Number One with a Bullet". Their first stop is a Three way Battle Royale against two other bands who want to break into the Queen's Scene, the road to Altimont; with only one slot available between Fire of Unknown Origin and the competing bands Velvet Lies and Unusual Heart it will be a vicious battle. Song Showdown: Stairway to the Stars vs Rainbow in the Dark(Dio) vs Jukebox Hero(Forigner)
  15.
  16. 6. A sabotaged van leads to the band falling into their opponent's trap; they face off against Mornington Crescent, who's power can cause you to enter a constant timeloop of subway stations, tunnels, and cars as long as you can hear their music. How do you defeat a foe like that? By rocking them harder than they've ever been before! Song Showdown: Hot Rails to Hell versus The Hellion(Judas Priest).
  17.
  18. 7. Fire of Unknown Origin's latest foe is a singer who's been on the Queen's Scene for more than three decades (and was singing for more than 20 years before that)as her Pizazz keeps her young and alive. Fire's only option to win: Steal away enough of her audience to break the hold of her Pizazz before it's too late. Song Showdown: Before the Kiss, A Redcap versus Touch of Grey (Grateful Dead)
  19.
  20. 8. MC is kidnapped by a villain sent after her by her Rival, and BD sets off in pursuit alone. As he rides, he has flashbacks to his time together with Rival, and his time with MC. This is intercut with MC thinking about her time with BD. BD almost manages to save her, but in the end all he can do is play guitar and lend her enough power to save herself. They two almost kiss before realizing that their relationship was never actually love, it was always about the music. The two agree that right now, their best option is to beat Rival if they want to reach Number One, With a Bullet. Song Spotlight: The Vigil
  21.
  22. 9. MC faces off against a new adversary, who challenged them to duel. It seems that Velvet Lies, one of the bands she originally beat out for her first slot on the Queen's Scene, has teamed with Rival to form a new unit, Imaginos. Fighting her bitter Rival to a standstil, the competition ends in a draw. The two Queen Candidates stare each other down as the credits roll, anticipating their next showdown. Song Showdown: Astronomy vs Rainbow in the Dark(Redux)
  23.
  24. 10. MC gets an invite to come to a training retreat at the behest of a friend of BD. The "friend" turns out to be Desdenova, known as the Man in the Silver Mountain: he orchestrated the first Queen's Scene battle more than four decades ago and watches the world from his Penthouse at the top of the worlds largest Radio Broadcast Antenna. It's here that MC discovers the history of the world, how Desdenova's band, with the powers of his wife's pizzazz first sealed the Big Bad, a terrifying entity known as Dead Ash, who has the power to steal people's Pizazz; they created the Queen's Scene tournaments to generate the Musical Energy to sustain the energy of her Pizazz after her death to keep Big Bad sealed. But the Prophesy of his sealing said the work could be undone, and with the waning of that power it is likely to come true. Song Feature: Workshop of the Telescopes
  25.
  26. 11. MC and Fire of Unknown Origin finally get their chance, a winner take all battle with Imaginos. They two clash again and again, and soon the concert turns to an out and out brawn as MC and Rival throw everything they have at one another. Finally, just when it looks like Imaginos is finished, BD turns on them. He reveals the truth, that he is Desdinova's Son, and he knew that eventually he would have to fight Dead Ash, and that he was always knew the time would come that he would have to choose the fight for the world, or the love of his life. He's come to realize that he truly does love Rival, and always did, and now he makes his choice. He saves her life, rescuing her and leaving Fire weakened. Hurt, confused, MC just stares as the crowd turns against her, segueing into episode one's opener. Song Showdown: In Thee vs Paranoia (Black Sabbath)
  27.
  28. 12. After a brief recap of the events of Episode 1, Fire and Imaginos continue to fight, the battle causing greater and greater destruction around them as MC becomes more and more desperate. Rival and BD, working together, singing together, break MC's will and she is defeated. As she falls, however, the prophesy comes to fruition, and Dead Ash, the big bad, revives inside her. The former lead of Velvet Lies reveals that he was an agent of Dead Ash all along and the MC is the reincarnation of Dead Ash's vessel, the way must be prepared for him by crushing the vessels' soul, burning out the essence of love. With BD's betrayal, and her deafeat, the circle is complete. The episode ends with her black, burning eyes igniting as she rises, now the embodiment of Dead Ash. Song Showdown: Cities on Flame With Rock and Roll vs 2 Minutes to Midnight(Iron Maiden)
  29.
  30. 13. 45 minute OVA special. The first part of the OVA features the MC living a normal High School life, doing slice of life stuff, but without her Pizazz. In fact, the whole of this part features no background music and muted sound effects. As time wears on we see her starting to reject this world, and we soon start getting flashes of what's going on outside as Dead Ash uses her enhanced Pizazz to devastate the city while BD and Rival fight against her. Desdinova enters the fray, but even the three of them are unable to stop MC. In the darkness of her own mind, as the city burns to ash around her and around the others outside, she hears it again. That single, perfect guitar sounding out again. She begins singing, sharing her sound with BD, Rival, and Desdinova. She begins taking her body back from Dead Ash with the power of love. Not of friendship, or a lover, but Love of Rock and Goddamn Roll. They struggle for control and with the help of Desdinova, who sacrifices himself in the act, they once again seal Dead Ash in MC's mind. BD and Rival, clearly meant for each other, take Desdinova's place together, guiding the world of the Queen's Scene from atop the Silver Mountain.
  31.
  32. MC, her journey only just beginning, takes BD's guitar and motorcycle, and rides off into the sunset for the wastelands of Akihabara's bubblegum pop idol factories, vowing to bring the Power of Rock to those who know it not. Song Showdown: Burning For You versus Last in Line(Dio)
