To do so, Minsook realized that she needed to get into a good school and knowing that her parents would not be able to afford an expensive school she had to work as hard as physically and mentally possible to achieve her mother’s dream for her. Her mother was the strict presence in her life, not tolerating any mistake but her father was the kind one; the one that listens to what Minsook has to say before making rash decisions.

Just like her slot, Minsook is an overachiever. She was raised to give her 110% in everything and to remember she could always do better. Growing up in this environment raised quite a few insecurities, she always wonders if what she's doing is good enough or if she's putting in the amount of effort that would make her parents proud (leading to many, many all-nighters). She is constantly putting on a strong face, even in the worst of times. She realized soon enough that being the most studious of every friend group she's been in, people tend to look to her for support in hard times (something about always knowing what to do) so she developed the reflex to stay calm no matter what the situation. Minsook puts others before herself all the time. She's absolutely terrible when it comes to taking care of her own health or getting to places on time. She's terribly emotional and since she has to stay calm all the time, the only exit for all her bottled up feelings is her brother. She's always there to lend a hand for others but hates going to friends for her own problems because she thinks she is a burden (she goes to her brother because, and I quote "you're my sibling you piece of shit, you have to listen to me.")
*She’s insecure about not being good enough, so you can imagine how the high school takes a bad toll on her emotional state because she’s not rich so she’s not good enough.

❥do you live on or off campus?:  on campus, she got a full scholarship so the dorm was free of charge and she couldn’t afford to live in an apartment.
❥what's your relationship with the others?:  minsook is very close with the 5 other girls, she’s the pure one so no one wants to hurt her (not even reggie)
❥any friends you make along the way?:  She meets this girl, Fujioka Mira, who was her tour guide on the first day. She seemed nice but after the tour she told Minsook explicitly that they could not be friends because many people didn’t approve of her presence in the school and those people could ruin lives in a heartbeat. Mira told her that even though she comes from a wealthy family, she’s still considered as poor in front of the higher class (the princes) and she doesn’t want to risk anything by showing compassion to Minsook or the rest of the Commoners.

❥his personality:  Doesn’t actually believe that the commoners are worthless but doesn’t believe they deserve to be in this school because this school was built for the rich. (lmfao hope you didn’t expect a 2D character bc I’m going all out). Though it doesn’t seem like it, as the oldest of his siblings, Jonghyun is next in line for the throne. He is constantly swamped with work and training to learn what it’s like to be the ruler but while many other can breakdown, he is expected to keep his composure, to always be perfect. His mean attitude is actually a defense mechanism for being lonely, while his siblings get to enjoy themselves, having little to no responsibilities; he has to carry a huge burden on his shoulders. (I’m hoping that maybe Minsook and him could bond over this feeling.) He feels as if the other princes have no trouble balancing all of their duties so he acts all confident to hide the fact that he is in fact, struggling.
❥how you met: It was raining and Minsook had a cheap ass umbrella and she was standing at the entrance of the school trying to get it to open (she was protected from the rain) when Jonghyun appears and goes “You can’t loiter, god commoners don’t have basic decency.” And Minsook turns to see who spoke and at that exact moment, her umbrella shot open full on hitting Jonghyun in the crotch. Minsook panics and offers to take him the nurse’s office but he gives her his signature death glare all while writhing on the ground. Not knowing what to do, Minsook yells “GOD FUCKING DAMMIT IM SORRY” and fucking sprints back to her dorm and while he watches her run away Jonghyun mutters “Fucking hell, oh I’ll get you back for this.”
❥your relationship: (Okay just imagine Dramione basically but with a less violent but more bitchy draco)
Beginning: Lots of bickering, mostly one sided. Minsook tries to be nice but Jonghyun won’t have it so she just ends up not talking to him until they have to work on a project together.
Middle: Jonghyun goes to her dorm and actually finds it a lot cosier than any of his 6281942184 homes. Minsook says she’d offer him food but she has to run for groceries. This is when like they’re still not friends and he’s still very rude to her. He sees pictures of her family and is genuinely interest so he asks a question and Minsook snaps at him like “Why do you care?” and he says something rude to her like “I don’t. I’m trying to be nice but I guess you don’t deserve that. Just like you don’t deserve to be in this school and she cracks and yells at him “listen up you sICK FUCK. I worked my ass off to get in this goddamn school and I got here on a FULL scholarship. And you? You got in because you’re the prince of a country I haven’t even heard of and believe me, I know every country. So I not only deserve to be here but this school is LUCKY to have me here. So just because I didn’t get in because of my daddy’s money, doesn’t mean I’m worthless, in fact I am fucking priceless and you should be grateful than I’m even talking to you. So get out of my house if you don’t want to be here” Jonghyun is shook af bc this is the first time Minsook ever fought back and he’s at a loss for words so he just stammers out a weak “I’ll go get food, I’m starving. Be right back.” and leaves. When he comes back like an hour later, because he didn’t have the nerves to show up again, he sees Minsook sitting on the desk and her head is lying down. He realizes she fell asleep while working on the project and that she had been crying (there are tears on the papers) so he places the food he bought on her dining table (it’s a rich school so they have like mini apartments as dorms) and he leaves a note that just says “I’m sorry, J” and starting from that moment, he started talking to her in school and at first Minsook was suspicious but they grew comfortable and slowly became best friends
End: They’re dating ofc! They share almost everything and they’re hella close. Jonghyun shared his insecurities with Minsook and she did the same and they help each other be the best person they can.
❥interactions: at first, Jonghyun is rude and Minsook plays nice because it’s her nature. Later they trust each other with absolutely everything, there are barely any lies in their relationship.
❥first impressions: Minsook thinks that Jonghyun is a huge douche but she tries to understand from his perspective. (We invaded their home so it’s understandable they’re upset)
Jonghyun just thinks she hit his wiener on purpose and swears to get revenge.
❥suggested scenes:
1.	Jonghyun buys her sunflowers for their first date and Minsook is SHOOK. This leads to him asking why she turned really pale and she had to explain what she considers the most embarrassing story ever, getting lost in a sunflower field. Through this she asks him to say something embarrassing so they can be even and they end up playing 20 questions
2.	Minsook buys Jonghyun a ring and she apologizes because he’s probably used to more expensive stuff and he gets so fLUSTERED and says he loves it and actually wears it every single day.

1.	Minsook’s parents come by, meet her bf. Later when alone her mother yells at her about how minsook is just dating him for money and reveals that if she goes down this path she will end up hating him just like she does with her husband. Minsook then accuses her of only wanting money and her mother tells her to never step foot into their home again and leaves with the rest of the family. Jughead, her roomate, comes home to see her crying and tries to comfort her. With no avail, she calls minsook’s boyfriend and they fall asleep on her bed and for one glorious moment, through all the chaos happening around her, Minsook was happy.

2.	All the girls decide to get back at the princes after they screwed them over and they’re all in except Minsook who doesn’t want to risk her scholarship any more than she already has. But the girls need her because she’s the smartest and she needs to plan the revenge so they don’t get caught and they have a heartfelt moment where they go “listen if we don’t stick together we are completely alone in this entire goddamn school. If we want to get through this with some dignity left, we need to have each other’s backs.” And maybe Veronica could say this? (it seems like something she would say)

3.	I WANT BONDING BETWEEN JUGHEAD AND MINSOOK OVER BURGERS PLEASE. Like they talk about boys and Jughead is basically all like “jesus minsook your guy is such a dick” and minsook is like “my guy?” and jughead goes “well yeah, we each have a guy. I have _____, you have Jonghyun (she continues)” And then they both pause and go “Holy shit we have our own guys.” So like a fourth wall break.
