got some upgrades for the desktop when i get back

27" monitor for portrait mode (so 3 monitors, my pvm, and the smart tv i bought recently)
250gb m.2 nvme ssd (i've never moved windows os between drives so likely just fresh install?)
1tb hdd (to replace my current 1tb hdd cause i think it's dying)
hdmi to dvi-i for my datapath so i can stream a lot more games (probably switch games like puyotetris and street fighter)

vtmb any% has a new route that'll save about another 2 minutes (skipping astrolite and mercurio) and it seems to eliminate that weird level-transitioning crash that made my NASA17 run a disaster. my new goal will be a 42:xx

all quests i was checking out gangrel's potential and things were going well until part 2 and 3 of the schrecknet quests for mitnick where sneaking is required. my typical strats won't work since i lack obfuscate. i either need to find a consistent way for gangrel to get through those quests (and the remaining route) or switch back to malkavian and stick with that clan for the initial run OR go back to tremere. decisions will be made

excited that bill looks like he'll be picking up daffy after i bought him a cart. will be nice to have a fresh pair of eyes on the route

planning to get back into castlevania chronicles once i'm back home. i don't think the 42 in vtmb will take me very long so i can focus on the deathless run goal i initially set for cvc when i learned the route. i might change how i'm capturing my psp from the rca cables -> gvusb2, to component cables -> datapath, and then just play off the datapath feed since it's pretty much lagless. i'd otherwise need a splitter or i'd need to convert the signal or something. hell maybe i need to buy a psp go for the save states...

my last plan was to route abuse, but the version differences threw me off. additionally, a run of the newer-story was done recently by pavichokche at a bit under 43 mins. not sure what to do with this yet
