<IS-ST> "THAT IS ENOUGH!" the shout comes from the caern heart, echoing out with a clash of thunder.  Everyone here instantly recognizes Malachi's voice.  A form comes rolling out of the heart, bouncing along the ground until it shifts up into crinos and grabs the dirt, making long furrows with its claws.  The Glass Walker Elder, Steel Fang stands up snarling as Malachi follows after him, also in
<IS-ST> his Crinos form, white robes and leather mask covering his flaming eyes.  His staff burns with the Legend's power.  "I AM SICK OF YOUR LIES AND ACCUSATIONS.  I AM NOT THE ONLY GAROU WHO HAS SEEN PEOPLE DIED BECAUSE OF MY ORDERS!"
* Kari stands, setting the coffee down... fuck the coffee
* SNB activates Persuasion because that might be needed.
<Kifel> And following behind both of the elder garou, came Kifel, a firm grimace across his features. Oh for once in his life, he looked absolutely pissed off.
* Jenna blinks awake from where she had been dozing after a long day of making things for guests to eat
* Ariyah jumped, startled at the sudden confrontation and found her feet so quickly she didn't recall standing. Emerald eyes opened wide at the scene as it unfolded.
* Kari looks over to Kifel
* Magdalene came rushing out of her wagon, eyes wide. Boil over, indeed!
<+sapph> <Alex_L> is on his feet almost instantly to put his body between the common toon and the Elder Uktena. Yes, the body guards were there, yes, Alex was a cub - but he acted on instinct to protect what was important to him.
<IS-ST> The elder looks at Malachi and snarls.  "Don't start that with me you fucking psychopath!  I've seen the heart of you and its as cold as the deepest ice.  The blood on your hands is an ocean of pain, and I'll scream it from the top of the world if I have too!"
* Pierce startles so hard that he shifts up into Crinos at the din of Malachi's voice and Steel Fang being tossed bodily out of the Caern Heart, the silver-furred wolf's pelt covered in the same black lines he has tattooed on him.
<Naze> <G> "Hold that thought.." she Asks Alex and Katarina as she stands as well after her eyes glaze over breifly as she gets an update and looks to the pair of arguing Elders.
* +Katarina looks at the pair of arguers, watching them warily.
* Kari moves to step between the two, and the rest
* Magdalene felt her stomach twist and she hurried over to the two making the ruckus. Shit had really hit the fan this time. She had never seen Malachi so enraged.
<+sapph> <Alex_L> couldn’t keep the snarl from his lips as his hackles rose - still between the Arguing elders and Naze and John. He’d at least be a good pincushion?
* +Tanner moves to stand watching the elders but makes no moves
* +Tanner watches carefully as he makes no movements
* SNB stands and makes ready
<IS-ST> "Fine, Steel!  You want it out?!  You want to prove to everyone that they are just pawns to me, that I am the most vile thing this side of the Wrym?  Lets do this then.  I challenge you!  You have belittled a higher ranking garou and I will have my satisfaction."
<+Kenzie> 3[{Hannah}] 14 came stepping out from the sleeping alcoves rubbing her eyes, she was wearing her usual as she looked around sounding a little tired.:: "whaswith all the noise?" ;:she looked over as Malachi makes a challenge and her eyebrows rise a bit and nods.:: "Ah...right."
* Kari looks at Hannah, waving her over
<IS-ST> Steel Fang smiles and draws his klaive, letting it burn with a silver fire.  "Fine by me, I accept.  All forms, all gifts, all the tools of war.  To the Death!"
* Kari goes wide eyed, looking between the two, then looks back to Kifel. She looks like her heart just sank a bit.
* Ariyah felt her lips peel back into a silent starl at the accusations the Glasswalker leveled against Malachi, though the anger was just as quickly lost when the challenge was leveled; no that caused her to loose a couple shades of color as her gaze shifted over to Kifel, but she didn't expect ackowlegement in he wake of everything else and her eyes flew back to Steel Fang at the terms he
* Ariyah leveled.
* +Katarina just watches, standing up and watching the inevitable duel without any hint of emotion.
* Naze looks from Malachi to Steel Fang and back.. <G> "We're going to need a new circle after this is done.." she mutters
* Jenna frowns
<+sapph> <Alex> growled and snarled his displeasure at the terms as every hair stood on end before his eyes went back to Naze almost pleadingly. There had to be something they could do to prevent death.
* Pierce-C shifts back down to homid after a moment, his face even paler than usual as the two of them draw their lines.
* Kari snaps, loking back to Alex, then shakes her head
* Magdalene turned pale. Her stomach twisted again and she looked at Naze and then to Pierce as he shifted down.
<Kifel> Kifel would grit his teeth even more as Steel leveled those words. But, he did not speak, he did not move. Merely letting things take their course. Though his eyes shot to the others as they snarled and growled, giving them a silencing sort of stare. This was between the elders, not them.
<+Kenzie> 3[{Hannah}] 14 looked at the two and moved over to Kari when she was gestured over, she moved quietly towards the woman and stood beside her, oddly she didn't seem upset at the idea of the challenge, she actually looked at the whole situation like she was expecting it, she slipped her hands into her coat pockets as she watched the Glasswalker draw his Silver blade and then towards malachi, she then looked to Alex and moved over
<+Kenzie> towards him, resting her hand on her brothers arm calmly.:: "Has to happen brother."
* Pierce steps over to Maggie quickly and stands close to her, silent again as he looks on, his knuckles white against the quarterstaff he carries.
* +Tanner watches this as he grimices but makes no move..
* Kari looks over to Pierce. "I think we're going to wait a bit more."
<IS-ST> The legend shakes his head and starts to stride past Steel.  "And thuis you reveal what a fool you are.  I accept your terms."  He passes through the Door to #Is.Outer.Bawn.  The Glass Walker moves to follow him, his fur growing a steel-like sheen, arching with electricty.
<+sapph> <Alex_L> was silent after the look from a Kifel, but he gave Hannah a displeased expression, “(L) (quiet) I really -hate- garou right now.”
* +Tanner moves to follow to watch.. and mostly to support Malachi
<SNB> Oh shit.
* +Katarina looks at SNB.
* SNB heads outside with them.
* +Tanner is shaking his head though as he watches this
* Kifel stepped after the legend, and his grandfather towards the outerbawn.
* Kari moves to Alex, then kneels next to him. "It is a part of what we are. It's not fun, and it really sucks." she lays a bullet down at his front paws, then turns to follow Malachi and Steel.
* Ariyah moved over to fall into step beside Kifel and walked outside with the others.
<+Kenzie> 3[{Hannah}] 14 squeezed Alex's arm and gave him a pained expression biting her lower lip and just pulled him closer then turned her head to watch what was coming.::
* +Katarina follows the group toward the outer bawn, expressionless.
* Pierce curls his arm around Maggie, guiding her toward the Outer Bawn should she be heading that way along with everyone else. He leans in close to whisper something to her.
* Magdalene followed outside as well, leaning against Pierce as he lead her out.
<+sapph> <Alex_L> couldn’t muster the excitement he would otherwise have at the little gift, but he nodded his understanding and thanks before picking up the bullet in his muzzle before heading out with Hannah with a very subdued gate. The excitement and joy of the evening utterly replaced with a weary acceptance.
* Naze followes the croud out. Several of the guests peeking out and following too
* +Tanner will move out to the outer bawn
* Naze looks back a moment to John <G> "Going to be alright?" she asks before she slips out
* `Faith` moved out of the alcoves quickly, phone in hand which she was tucking into the back pocket of her jeans as she looked around. Her gaze trailing after those exiting the bawn to find Kifel as she moved that way quickly to exit.
* John-Khillwhicha nods to Naze.  "I'll just watch from here."
* Naze nods understandingly and she slips out

* Pierce steps into the outer bawn along with Maggie, the siblings standing close to each other during the heated moment.
* SNB follows the two high ranking Garou out about their challenge.

* +Katarina comes out, finding a spot to stand and watching.
<+Kenzie> 3[{Hannah}] 14 moved out into the outer bawn with the others, she was watching this whole thing happen with a reserved and near emotionless expression, she didn't seem sad or angry, not happy or anything of the like.::
* Magdalene leaned against Pierce, whispering to her brother. She looked pained and a bit frightened. Her stomach roiled harder.
<IS-ST> The outer bawn is calm and plesantly cool.  Dark Dreams sits outside the Challenge circle, watching as Malachi and Steel Fang make their way out.  The large lupus looks at them but says nothing. They enter the circle, which seems rediculiously small with the two powerful warriors standing there.  The Legend's staff flows and becomes a large Scythe.  He takes it in both of his hands and
<IS-ST> looks at Steel.  "Last chance to cry off."
* Jenna comes out looking worried
<IS-ST> The Glass Walker laughs harshly.  "Not a chance, Wizard."
<+sapph> <Alex_L> emerged from the bawn with a trudging gate as if the energy has been drained from him. Ears flattened and tail hanging limply he stopped at the edge of the circle to bare witness to the death of a soul they really couldn’t afford to lose in the end times, whomever it might end up being. He shivered and leaned against Hannah’s leg.”
* Kifel stands near the edge of the circle, his arms crossed over his chest. Merely staring at the pair as they spoke.
* Ariyah wore a somber expression as she stood quietly beside Kifel, emerald eyes on Malachi and Steel.
* `Faith` moved out quickly, coming to a sudden hault next to Kifel as green eyes flickered towards him. 14You aren't really going to let them do this?
<SNB> What is this about?
* SNB calls to the two of them, just in case it can be paused.
<Kifel> "It's an official challenge Faith. It's beyond our hands." His eyes flicking towards his mate and his pack sister, before returning to his grandfather and Malachi, briefly slinging his arm over Faith's sides drawing her close. Mostly for her protection.
* SNB specifically asks Malachi and Steel Fang
* +Tanner watches the Elder and Legend as they are angry at eachother
* Jenna moves over to Faith and looks at Kifel
<Jenna> to the death should not happen with our leaders...the spirals will laugh if they knew our leaders are killing each other
<Jenna> the wyrm gains ground when we fight each other to the death
* JamesBeckett came jogging from his RV towards the commotion
* Jenna wraps her arms over her baby bump
* SNB steps forward. "For a Galliard who will have to tell this tale, what is this about?"
* Naze moves to a spot that is *not* directly behind either combatant and rises a good foot off the ground to see.
* `Faith` set her jaw looking rather tense though allowed Kifel to pull her back into him. Those green eyes turning towards Malachi and Steel Fang as she stared intently at the two in utter silence, but quite frankly she was disgusted by both of them.
* Ariyah cast a grim look at Jenna.
* JamesBeckett stepped towards the ring eyes wide. His rage evident as he approached nearby but not too close to his tribal eldest.
<+Kenzie> 3[{Hannah}] 14 piped up for a moment.:: "Bites-the-Wyrm-rhya has spoken a lot and said things about Malachi-rhya, and Malachi-rhya has apparently had enough of what he feels are lies, it seems this is to try and resolve that."

* +Katarina looks at Jenna, expression inscrutable.
<+Tanner> Jenna, the challenge was made and terms were set.
* Kifel eyed Jenna simply. "I do not need this repeated to me Jenna. I am very well aware." The ahroun simply before returning his eyes towards the elders, squeezing Faith's side slightly.
* Ariyah glanced over at James when he approached, then simply turned her gaze back to the circle.
* SNB isn't listening to anybody but Malachi and Steel Fang about the answers. to his questions.
* JamesBeckett nodded to Ariyah but said nothing.
* Rasha stepped out of the Umbra then, the severe-looking Syrian woman with her rifle slung over her shoulder watching the scene unfold in the challenge circle, her jaw set and her expression stoic.
<JamesBeckett> How bad is it Kifel-Rhya?
<JamesBeckett> You mean steel fang hannah?
<JamesBeckett> That's not bites the wyrm in the ring.
* JamesBeckett spoke calmly
<IS-ST> The pair of veteran warriors face off against each other, the rage and blood lust a palpable force between them.  An Elder Ahroun versus a Legenday Theurge.  One moment they are stock still, and the next they are moving, blurring into speeds that are almost impossible to believe, rage fulled ahroun versus the fastest garou in the Nation.  The fist pass seems to do nothing, the old man
<IS-ST> dodging skillfully under the Klave that seaks his head.  He slaps Steel in the stomach with his open palm to no effect.  Then the battle is truely joined, weapons clashing with fire and sparks, parries the direct the blows into the ground, cracking the concrete at their feet like eggshells.  Seconds pass and neither of them show any signs of slowing down.  Steel draws first blood,
<IS-ST> sliding his blade along the haft of the Scythe and flicking off one of Malachi's fingers.  The Legend only reaches out and slaps him across the face in return.
* SNB backs away, his attempts having made no impact.
* Jenna her face goes stoic
* JamesBeckett stared in utter awe.
* +Tanner watches the two elder garou fight in awe as time seems to slow
<+sapph> <Alex_L> had never truly seen Garou fight and he shrunk at the sight. Wide golden eyes watching the power unleashed as his body trembled. In the span of minutes the joy and excitement at endless mysteries unfolding before him had shattered to watching this living nightmare as two elders tried to kill each other.
* Pierce instinctively put himself slightly in front of Maggie as the mind-bending fight carried on. The young teenager couldn't believe the raw power the two Garou wielded effortlessly.
* Jenna a tear slides down her cheek
<IS-ST> After being wounded, Malachi moves even faster, his form litterally dissapearing from sight as he dances around the Ahroun, dodging his blade by simple ceasing to exist.  As he comes back, again and again, his hand reaches out to smack Steel Fang, on the arm, on the leg, and even quick flick to his crotch.  The Elder roars out in fury.  "FIGHT ME, YOU BASTARD!"  His eyes flaring red
<IS-ST> with his rage.
* Magdalene watched the fight, horror stricken. A lump rose in her throat. One of these men were going to die there as they all looked on. But she couldn't look away, as violent and as awful as it was. She flinched when one of Malachi's fingers went flying off, hand going to her mouth.
<`Faith`> 6Those teeth clenched even more as she kept her eyes glued to the blur of movement within the challenge circle. Not that she could keep up with the movement of the two garou, like trying to watch a movie on fast-forward and only really catching bits and parts of it. However the jist of it was understood and she remained within Kifel's grasp as she gave a shake of her head and a sigh.
<`Faith`> 6Her shoulders sagging a bit as she heard the roar and she murmured something quietly for only Kifel to hear.
* +Katarina crosses her arms and watches the two go at it, keeping her feet planted as the rage boils over her.
* Valrun hurries up, moving to stand with Pierce.
<+Kenzie> 3[{Hannah}] 14 watched on and crossed her arms over her chest as she continued to watch, she said nothing as she just watched the Ahroun getting more and more easily taunted.::
* Ariyah crossed her arms as if the small gesture offered some defense to the impact of what they were all witnessing. A muscle in her jaw jumped as Malachi lost his finger and there was a sharpness to the way her eyes glittered in the light cast down from the moon overhead, but she did the only thing any of them could do in that moment and just stood there waiting to see how the tale
* Ariyah of one of the two mighty garou would end.
<IS-ST> Malachi appears right infront of him, the haft of his scythe striking at Steel's ankles with a pair of vicious, sickening snaps as they roll over, bone showing from the wounds, which is followed up by another strike solidly to his crotch before the Legend is off again.  The Glasswalker howls and all finess leaves his form as he frenzies, and follows after Malachi, not slowing down
<IS-ST> despite his broken ankles.
* Pierce looks to Valrun with a nod, thankful for her presence as Steel Fang howls in frenzy.
<+Kenzie> 3[{Hannah}] 14 would at this point help Alex to take a few steps back and give the elders just a tiny bit more space.::
* @Viktor watches the fight kind of like old people making love, I mean sure they're technically doing it but..are they really?
* Kifel braces briefly as Fang suddenly went into a frenzy, pushing Faith defensively behind himself and Ariyah, gritting his teeth sharply.
* Jenna moves to join her pack
* Rasha takes a step back at the frenzied howl, though her stone-faced expression breaks into a slightly prideful smile as she watches Malachi fight for the first time.
<+sapph> <Alex_L> was more or less just moved by Hannah because he was -trying- not to make that ‘hurking’ noise the preceded vomiting in response to the sickening crack of bone and the gruesome wounds.
* `Faith` didn't even bother arguing with Kifel, she allowed herself to be positioned behind him and Ariyah as she offered the woman a small smile though it was clearly forced. Standing behind Kifel made it impossible to see shit, so she stopped even trying, just leaned against his back and listened to the movements, considering Mal was too fast for her eyes to see anyways.
* Valrun takes Pierce's hand, giving it a little squeeze, her attention on the fight
* Magdalene gasped at the frenzy and, on instinct, pulled Pierce back a bit. He was her little brother after all. This was the most intense battle she had ever seen. She had no idea that Malachi could still even move like that.
* Naze follows the fight, on both sides of the umbra her eyes almost glowing in the moonlight.. <G> "Every one of those slaps had an agony charm.. he's made a hell of a point.. pushed him over the edge.."
<JamesBeckett> He's forced him into frenzy...

* @Viktor crosses his arms just watching the old wolves go at it.
* +Katarina watches, tensing up just in case she needed to get out of there.

Seeing that it was simply to move Faith into a more protected location she turned a few degrees more to give a nod to the kinfolk; a small indication that while not as capable as the Wyrmfoe she would protect her. Naze's comment pulled her attention
<Ariyah> 6back to the fight, the knowledge that the slaps had more intention then to embarrass cost the little theurge another shade of color.
<SNB> Does make it difficult to surrender.

* Rasha gives Valrun's hand a squeeze as he stands between her and Maggie while the battle continues to rage on. Even as it appeared Malachi had the situation well in hand, he couldn't help but swallow back the lump in his throat.
<`Faith`> 14Steel would never surrender. 6There was a bit of a bitter sigh that came from her at that as she continued to lean against Kifel's back. Her gaze flickering over towards SNB, wishing like hell she was wrong.

* Pierce gives Valrun's hand a squeeze as he stands between her and Maggie while the battle continues to rage on. Even as it appeared Malachi had the situation well in hand, he couldn't help but swallow back the lump in his throat.
<IS-ST> The blur of Crinos forms slam into each other and blood paints the ground, red flowers sprouting from it to be trampled under the feet as Steel slashes through Malachi's stomach.  The Theurge headbutts him and shoves the Ahroun back.  He hold out his hand and makes a fist, the ground around Steel following to grab him in a massive fist of stone, slowly crushing him.
* +Tanner raises his eyebrows as the Giant fist of stone comes out of no where to hold steel
* +Katarina looks a little impressed.
<Kifel> And as that fist of stone began to crush his grandfather, Kifel would simply stare. The ahroun holding his breath as he watched the display between the powerful garou. Faith could see this happening as Kifel shifted his frame just enough, but Kifel remained deadly silent. Watching a bitter rivalry come to it's end
<Magdalene> It was an impressive show of power on Malachi's part and, even if she was mortified at the events, she couldn't help but be impressed by the stone hand.
* JamesBeckett stared in awe
<+sapph> <Alex_L> couldn’t breathe as his eyes stared unblinking at the gruesome scene. “(Whispered) please... stop... it...” He knew it wouldn’t end. Hell, Alex didn’t even know he spoke as he watch one person kill another in front of his eyes. This wasn’t fighting a monster, this was one garou killing another.
<`Faith`> 6As Kifel shifted so that she could see she looked onwards back towards the fight. Those green eyes turning to look at Steel Fang and Malachi as her hand reached up to lay against Kifel's back offering what little comfort she could as tears started to form in those pools of green. Near silently she murmured something to Kifel again.
* Naze continues to follow the fight her eyes bouncing back and forth at a dizzying rate until the stone hand comes out to hold the glasswalker.. She finally blinks then. <G> And this is the part where malachi pulls his wolf out of him and 'kills' him.." she mutters
* Pierce looks over to Maggie and Valrun again, in absolute disbelief as he continued to be shown how little he knew about the Garou.
* Jenna slides an arm around her packmate, hugging Pierce
* Ariyah winced at the sound of stone grinding againt stone as the fist closed around Steel Fang. Yet on she watched, her expression pained and cheeks damp though she appeared completely unaware of the later.
* JamesBeckett looked to naze grinning
<JamesBeckett> That's... that's totally his style
<IS-ST> Floating up into the air, blood streaming from his wounds.  He holds out his other hand and gestures like he is snatching something from Steel and a whisp of a spectral wolf rises from Steel, making him revert to his lupus form, just as Naze perdicted.  "I will let you live, Steel Fang.  We need warriors, all the warriors we have.  But you will remember this day, and you will bear the
<IS-ST> marks of this fight until you die."  He drops down to the ground and cracks it with his landing.  Steel is almost completely crushed by the stone fist just before it lets him go, dropping the wolf at Malachi's feet.  His hand grows with a sickly, dark light as he reaches down and grabs the right front paw of the Elder, cuasing it to shrivel and twist under his touch, becoming a sad
<IS-ST> useless thing that just hangs there.
<JamesBeckett> Holy fucking...
* `Faith` just shakes her head as she looked away as the tears started to roll down her face. She had nothing but pity, for both Malachi and Steel Fang, though she remained there for Kifel's sake as she leaned into his side, arms wrapping around him as she held onto him quietly for the moment.
* +Tanner drops his jaw as he is unblinking
<IS-ST> He looks to Dark Dreams.  "If you say I must kill him, I will.  But I have defeated him, and broken him.  Only fools seek death when there is none needed."  The Alpah nods and looks at Steel Fang, laying there crushed and wheezing.  "If he wants death, he can end it honorably."
* @Viktor looks to Dark Dreams
* +Katarina just lets her eyes widen slightly.
<IS-ST> The Alpha looks at the others.  "No one will aid the Elder.  This is done."
* Magdalene shuddered in relief that no one actually died in the fight. She could have cried out but she managed to keep the sound trapped in her throat. At least she hoped that there wouldn't be. She looked to Dark Dreams and then to the ring again, hoping that the Ahroun chose to live.
<Naze> Even Naze winces at what Malachi does to the elder Lupus Spirit. She knows there is no recovery from that. <G> Someone better have mothers touch for our beta.." she murmurs
* @Viktor sneers just slightly and uncrosses his arms.
<SNB> Someone probably knows it.
* SNB looks to Malachi. "Care to share the argument?"
<@Viktor> Leave him alone.
* Valrun looks to Naze, speaking softly "there are potions if needed"
<Kifel> His hand relaxing slightly as it held against Faith's side, Kifel would release his held breath staring at the crippled wolf that was his grandfather. His eyes shifting towards Malachi, then back to Steel, he said nothing, merely brushing his fingers against hist wife's side.
* Ariyah glanced up at Kifel and back at Faith wordlessly, before looking back to the combat circle.
<+Kenzie> 3[{Hannah}] 14 looked at Alex with a smile and gently ran her fingers through his fur.:: "Not his time yet." ::she gave Alex a soft hug.::
<IS-ST> Malachi turns, his staff a staff again, and he starts to walk away, head down.  He pauses and looks at SNB, gesturing towards Dark Dreams before he starts to move back to the inner bawn.
* JamesBeckett relaxed and sighed frowning.
<`Faith`> 14Malachi... 6As he turned to go back to the inner bawn, she finally spoke as she looked towards him.
* +Tanner offers a nod to Malachi

<+sapph> <Alex_L> had managed to watch it all to the end, but that was all he could take. The lupus twisted on its haunches and scrabbled at the ground before launched into a breakneck run for the bawn and his alcove. He would not be seen for at least a few days.
* SNB looks to DD.
<Magdalene> As soon as he left the circle, Maggie followed Malachi towards the inner bawn. She had Mother's Touch and Naze was her pack leader. She'd tend to Malachi's wounds as best she could if he'd let her.
* @Viktor looks over to DD again, "Are you certain we should suffer a crippled cunt to live?"
* Rasha pipes up from her quiet spot in the back as her shoulders relaxed a bit. "Y'know, tradition dictates that the Elder should be killed. But I think it's time we started making some new traditions anyway," she says, turning her back on the scene as she walks back toward the bawn, eventually disappearing from sight into the Umbra.
* JamesBeckett turned following the others inside
