  10. -Ciel: The Sky is the Limit-

  12. The Ciel are a humanoid-shaped race which come in many numbers. With a great balance on both the artes of MagiTech and Magic, they have obtained their seat as an important asset in the way of progress of the universe.

  14. Their most noticeable feature are their pointy ears, as well as the strange markings on their face or bodies (usually near one eye or cheek) which represent their ever-lasting link to the energies of Magia.

To other races' amazement (and soemtimes envy) Ciels seem to be described a lot in ancient space mythologies, eventually gaining the title of "race of the Sky" by some Avvoltare priest groups, though other races tend to not care as much. Today the Ciels' objective have been focused on a mutual understanding between races, opting for new initiatives to incluye more of them into the GU.

  19. -Griffe: Courage & Ancestry-

  21. Griffes are half-humanoid/half-beast hybrids. They posses feline attributes like ears, tails and tiger-like feet. They even posses small patches of fur in places like legs or tights. Their tails symbolize their level of growth and knowledge: One tail at childhood (from birth to aprox. 10 -11 years); 2 tails after puberty and going all the way through teen and young adult years (puberty - 50 years old aprox.); 3 tails once become a odler adult (50's till death).

  23. They are also known for being a race who respects and honor the ones who have passed to a better life. They believe each generation of Griffes must pass part of their knowledge and power once its time for them to leave this plain of existance, making big mausoleums just to burry their fathers and forefathers inside.

  25. Balanced when it coems to Magic and Tech, they tend to live in cities or colonies where vegetation is abound, as well with space for them to run and excersice.

  28. -Juvel: Progress is a Jewel-

  30. The Juvel are know for being one of the most advance races in the universe when it coems to the use of MagiTechnology. Ditching the arcane artes of spellcasting long ago, ther race have become know for this amazing mechanical engeneering.

When it comes to physical features, we can notice their colored skin (usually of pale, red or green tones), their long and thin ears and most importantly, the strange crystal-like formations that sprout from the back of their hands all the way to the elbow. Nobody knows for sure the reason of this: Some say it was their over-exposure to strange quimical particles, others said that where blessed by the power of Magia, but nobody knows for sure.

  34. Another important feature is their problem when it comes to breathe. Juvels are not fully adaptable to breath the same types of particules, some of them which even exist in the air! For that, they wear special machines around their necks nicknamed "Juvecollars" to able to co-exist outside their homeworlds. Without them, A Juvel will still be able to live, but prolongued exposure to air without a Juvecollar can cause irreparable problems to a Juvel's health.

  37. -Udyr: The Power of Pride-

  39. Udyrs are a beast-looking race which has obtain quite a reputation around the universe. Their physical attributes resemble (in earthling understanding) the body and face of a lion, horns of a goat, wings of a demon, and the tail of a scorpion.

  41. While very bad at the artes of spellcasting, they shine when it coems to military force and brute and direct power. It was thanks to their powerful help, that the side of justice was able to won the great historical event known as the Dark Artes War and erasing the fabled Clan Zeroma from the pages of time.

Not only that, but the made their way into the history books thanks to the brilliant mind and power of Galatic Hero Commander Miles Animus, who after foiling the Clan Zeroma's plan for universal conquest, saw the potential of Grimoires as trained military defense force to protect the galaxies. Before his death, he created the "Galacta Hero Initiative" which created the Academias, so Grmoires could be picked and taught the arts of magic while other magitech users could become part of the space defender forces, hoping to one day find another one that could be named as a Galactic Hero.

  45. This acts skyrocketed Udyrs as mighty and powerful, but have gained some fear among other races.

  48. -Colmmenian: Humble Earth-

  50. The Colmmenians are a race of insect-like beings who are very well known for their huge numbers as well as their mastery over mining. Due to the demand the universe has on working crystals to store magic, Colmmenians are known as the no. 1 labor force around, as they semmd to know their stuff about digging, as well as their ghumble and good-natured attitude. Luckly for them, they have an union of their own, the CUW (Colmmenian Union of Workers) which keeps track of any case of Colmmenian mistreating.

  52. On the physical and biological side, Colmmenians got the short end of the stick when it comes to evolution. Even when living on canyons and udnerground passages for so long, their bodies are unadaptable, soft and easy to break on such ahrsh enviroments. That is why from a yougn age, they implement mechanical implants on themselves, becoming well-knowna s the "cyborg race". also, their faces seem to be endlessly covered in shadow, only their eyes to be seen, to the point seeing their mouths have been a mystery to even the rgeatest scientists of today.

  54. Colmmenians live in colonies, which act as a family to eachother. whens eeking mates, they tend to travel to other colonies in order tof ind someone that could be their soulmate. There are two types of female Colmmenian: The worker one (capeable of reproducing and looking like a femenine evrsion of any other colmmenian) and the "Queen" one, which grow to enormous sizes and are perfect for baby-carrying (as the name implies, they tend to be crowned as queens of their respective colonies).

  57. -Avvoltaire: Mystics of Wind and Water-

  59. The Avvoltaire are a peculiar race. Showing traits of mammal fish like dolphines or whales but seem to posses a light bone structure similar to avian species. The posses bluish toned skin (or purple or pink toned on females) as well as longfingers and flat hands. They also can use their light body structure to glide across short distances.

  61. They are known as well for their high expertise when it comes to the forces of Magi. Lots of famous Grimoires Scholars born from this mystic race. Avvoltaires are also know to be a very religious race, creating different kinds of cults and chruches to prise the many gods of their mythologies. Younglings of the race must endure a pilgrimage out of their home planet and learn the artes of magic on their own to be considered an adult. Howeverm this emphasis on magic spells proves how few users of MagiTech exist among them.

  63. Avvoltaire cities tend to be floating citadels, suspended aboves large bodies of water (usually oceans) as their still need hydration every once in a while.

  70. -Yami: Beings of the Shade-
  71.  
  72. This race is known by many names. The Twilight Race; The Shadow Beings or the Space Demons (by the mroe hurtful).

  74. The Yami have a very humanoid shape with round ears. the exhibit a slight blue-ish tone in the skin as well as many tribaal-like marks across their bodies. They most peculiar traits however, fall on their "horns" and devil-like tails. These "horns", in particular, are soft movable membranes that allows them to sense the currents of magic in their surroundings.

  76. You see, the Yami have a high connection with magic, in the Dark Artes to be exact. That means they can manipulate shadows and dark energy with ease. This however, makes them feared among some civilizations due to the events that transpired on the Dark Artes War. Is for that reason that many races, specially the Udyr, are disagreeing with the Ciel community on allowing the Yamis to become part of the Galacta Union.

  78. Another important trait of the Yami is thir abundance of the female species. There's a higher chance for a female Yami to be born than a male, so male Yamis tend to be stationary on their home worlds taking jobs like politicians or other in-house careers while female yami are the ones who tarvel across planets more often.

  80. Due to their secrecy, Yami colonies tend to be based on big fortress-like structures, shielding their populations from the planet's harm enviroments.

  83. -Steametto: The Junkyarders-

  85. Steamettos are nomad race who travels across galaxies gathering as much junk as they can find. Short of height, somewhat tubby, and with reptilian looks, this race is well known for being master engeneers and capeable to construct many amazing machines with mere scraps.

  87. On the biological side of things, Steamettos show a big shell on their backs and a very reinforced belly. This is because their insides are red hot and burning at high temperatures, which allows them to consume their favorite food: Pyronite (a gravel-like material known for being one of the hotter substances in the known universe). As their a constantly burning inside, Steamettos are pushed to expel any concentration of steam inside of them by the use of pipe-like protuberances located on their shells, expelling steam every once in a while.

  89. As mentioned before, theya re a nomad race, so they are rare seen in pairs or more. It is yet unknown to scientists if female Steamettos even exist or how exactly do they reproduce.

  92. -Toxiceron: Biological Wonder-

  94. The Toxiceron race are an amazing race. They have lizard-like qualities like scales on certain areas of the legs and arms as well as a green-tone in their skins (with certain exceptions).

  96. This race posses the amazing ability of absorb bacteria. For what a Ciel could be a common cold, for a Toxiceron its enhances its pwoer, making them able to grow or generate new physical or energy attacks like enhances strength, pyrokinesis, spike protuberances, and many others.

On the social side of things, the Toxiceron have been in a inner Civil War between factions of their same race for years, divided between the Old Lizards and the Neo Lizards. the Old Lizard decided to alienat themselves from high magitechnology and leave in connection with nature, while Neo Lizards decided that evolution asks for the use of new technologies,a ccepting MagiTech for a brighter future and udnerstanding between races.

  101. -Licantos: Mighty Howl-

  103. The Licantos are a half-humanoid half-beast race almost identical to the Griffe, but their main biological difference being the canine-like features unlike the Griffe's feline looks. Scientists theorize at some point in histories, these two races may have even been considered the same race.

  105. However, its been well known that the Licantos share a huge rivalry with the Griffe, envying their progress in galactic society. even to the point of declining the offer to be part of the Galacta Union only because of the Griffe being there.

  107. They are a less stationary race, usually seens traveling in packs on big colony ships, Licantos have sadly aquired a bit of a bad reputation over the years. Many of them becoming criminals or traveling Space Pirates out of jaleousy over the Griffe.
