  1. This is an abbreviated guide for Mudkip 148, which has a Naughty nature and IVs of 24/27/10/31/31/30. If you are not familiar with the basic Abraless route, learn it from G_Heinz's guide, then return here to learn how it works with this Mudkip.

  3. ---------------------------------------------
  4. SUPPORTING NOTES
  5. - Compendium (trainer stats, moves, experience, money): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1n7rmyMGOR9ishlC8LuXxKtSgnwNxOUY2XScyPvFnGqo/edit#gid=0
  6. - Offensive damage ranges: http://pastebin.com/23SL48yS

  8. - Kyogre ranges: https://www.dropbox.com/s/036ge90ixcvob35/Kyogre%20ranges.xlsx?dl=0
  9. ---------------------------------------------
  10. IMPORTANT STUFF TO KNOW
  11. - You are allowed to save & quit. New runners are strongly advised to save before the following fights: Brawly, Rival 2, Cooltrainer Brooke, Norman, Tate & Liza.
  12. - Spinners can be dodged with 100% consistency with proper strats, which are explained here: http://pastebin.com/VxTjrnzz
  13. - You will save a LOT of time by practicing movement (even basic running and biking paths) and the tricky fights (namely Flannery, Winona and T&L).
  14. - Trainer AI is explained here in terms of this run: http://pastebin.com/jP2yvhQJ
  15. - The cursors for the main menu and inventory never never reset unless you save+quit (so no point in swapping items to the top of your inventory).
  16. - You cannot buffer inputs in Gen 3, so it is generally best to menu immediately after an event, rather than during movement.
  17. - When Mudkip/Marshtomp/Swampert's HP is at 1/3 or less, its Torrent ability will trigger, which boosts the power of Water-type moves by 50%.
  18. ---------------------------------------------
  19.
  20. BEFORE STARTING:
  21. - Clear the previous save file by pressing Select+Up+B on the title screen
