To be honest this quarrel seems rather misplaced considering most of the world opposes both groups' ideas, and the only real difference I can see is that one is more extreme than the other.

Really this seems to be a product of expectations not being met, expectations that are easier to hold then live up to.

Both camps are different and distinct but there is far more overlap than real daylight between them. Both are on the same side and should mutually support one another. Because if one falls, the other will be bereft of manpower. As Franklin said, "We must all hang together, or most assuredly we will all hang separately." My concern is that one will be so agitated with the other that it will become antagonistic to the goals both camps have, even on a somewhat metaphysical level being unable to cooperate makes our desire for a high trust intelligent society come across as callow and insincere.

The issue is that this board is so gaslit that it is de facto anti-white, because the simple fact is that there's no way to strategically benefit from your 'attacks' on the AR, the people who can capitalize on it are your enemies. And that's even assuming all you say is generally true.

Which it isn't. The contention I saw was that the AR was a Jew friendly civic nationalist movement. The former justified by Spencer knowing and being friends with Paul Gottfried as they both had paleocon connections, even though the AR likes Culture of Critique and saw Milo as a Jewish co-opter. Other pieces of "evidence" include Henrik talking with a guy called Reactionary Jew, and people defending him for even daring to have the conversation. Henrik being someone with a reputation for bringing up Jews even when his guest didn't want to. The civic nationalism angle is something I don't follow to be quite honest. There's also the "gay mafia" thing, which amounts to not purging people who do good work simply for being gay but also not purging people for being anti-gay. On TRS, coming out as gay on the forums is bannable after all
