A charred collection of collapsed confectionery contraptions.
Dwarfing even the enormous kitchens without, this cavernous chamber seems nearly too large to exist beneath the main structure of the temple proper. Numerous machines have been constructed with a clear degree of lackadaisy, great vats interspersed with pinwheeling mechanical arms, hissing pistons, and whistling valves. The end result is all too apparent, however, as the waving metal appendages bear great strings of taffy, stretching and pulling over and over and over, while other machines stir liquid confection in bright pink and deep blue hues. A low series of conveyors attached to the final machine are broken beyond repair, the pipes and armature surrounding the  contraptions covered in a fine layer of soot and charred batter.
You see a single exit leading northeast.

Eritheyl Ryseni says, "...oh...my..."

Coraline Myeras says, "...oh dear, it is charred, and ...and...."

Loudly, Silvanos Lunarose says, "Okay, that's actually a good start!"

Nepenthe's eyes rove over the various cobbled together machines, as if taking a mental inventory of each component and broken part. "The taffy pullers and stirrers are still moving though," he observes.

Tantus Stickypaw exclaims, "Uh, that's super not good for the machine. But pretty good for you!"

Silvanos Lunarose says, "Now we know the cable needs to be replaced."

Silvanos nods their head at Tantus Stickypaw.

Into the machine, Coraline Myeras asks, "Which cable, Chundae?

Tantus Stickypaw says to you, "They're different machines, they are! Could you imagine one machine to do all that? They might get confused and try to pull the jawbreakers instead of the taffy, and then you'd get a kind of waggly jaw instead of a broken one."

As the jar clatters into the machine, a distant squelching noise is heard.

The machine seems to shudder slightly at the disturbance, loose pieces of metal grinding ominously.

Pulled by a length of rope, Chundae pops out from behind the machine, completely coated in orange jelly.

Coraline joins in by grabbing the rope with her small hands, pulling with all her might.

Calling out to Chundae, you say, "Watch your he--."

Silvanos wipes the back of their hand across their head in relief as they mutters, "Whew."

"Hey!" you greet Chundae warmly.

Eritheyl exhales slowly, allowing a long fluid breath to creep from his lungs.
