  1. Sasha was hungry.
  2.
  3. The night wearied her, despite the near invincibility which had seen her through, in her arms a flinching lily holding tight against her bared arms, sleeves rolled up so that the girl would not slip away from her grasp as she took her step by step looking for help. The girl weighed more than she did for goodness sake, and yet shriveled into her arms like a frightened kitten, looking deliberately away from Sasha’s power masked face. Every step, though casual, was made deliberate as the pants kept her knees from collapsing, and the gloves gave her the power needed to actually lift her cargo.
  4.
  5. Already she’d dealt with the scene, pockets now stuffed full to their limits with money and phones taken from the pockets of the criminals whom she’d ambushed in the act. Opting to take away their ability to call for help as well as taking the drugs which they’d come to trade for, and hiding it away alongside of their weapons. Hell she’d even taken their clothes as well, bandaging those who were bleeding with the torn up scraps and tying the rest of them up as they shuffled and moaned when pushed and prodded.
  6.
  7. No body, it seemed, had been critically injured in her assault.
  8.
  9. Something she’d been worried about from the moment that the first man’s body had left the ground. It would have been funny if not for how heart stopping the momentary question of ‘Am I a Murderer now?’ had proven even in the aftermath of her win. The idea that it could have come to that left a bitter taste against her lips, and yet thinking about it more deeply, she couldn’t help but think of just how helpless the girl now curled up in her arms had been... of her own moment where all the world seemed to be against her. Would blood on her hands have truly been so bad?
  10.
  11. Sasha shook her head. That wasn’t a question she wanted to answer, it wasn’t a question she wanted to think about or entertain.
  12.
  13. Instead she let herself drift towards a different wondering, one which found its way to her lips.
  14.
  15. “Hey, you know. I rescued you, but you haven’t even told me your name.” She spoke casually, smiling as she took yet one more step. Despite not being heavy to her the girl’s greater mass made balancing her in her arms tricky. On the other hand, she hadn’t felt in the least bit tired or sore in carrying the girl around, much less any of the other feats she’d managed that night.
  16.
  17. “...” A pause seemed to impregnate the night with stubborn silence the girl clung tighter to her neck. Coaxing her to get on had been its own chore, and even now, half naked and boobs pressed into Sasha’s face she seemed to struggle between wanting to cling tighter, or to simply run as far away as she could manage. And yet the silence did not last. “… Yon.”
  18.
  19. “Oh! It speaks!” Sasha grinned.
  20.
  21. “... you saved me.” The words fell out from the Asian woman’s mouth almost in a rush, as if to make up for the silence. “… oh god… I was so afraid… I...”
  22.
  23. Sasha wasn’t exactly the smoothest of operators, and someone crying in her arms was pretty much the height of new experiences for her as she trudged towards the nearest phone booth. “Ahh… um… please don’t cry… you’re safe now. I promise.”
  24.
  25. “Oh… man… I’m pathetic aren’t I… blubbering away in your arms on a sprained ankle. I… please… just thank you. Thank you so much. I fully expected to be spending the rest of my life knees down on the floor sucking cock for some rich guy... as my best case scenario for tomorrow.” She babbled, panting in a combination of mortification and relief. “Oh fuck me.”
  26.
  27. “Hey, hey… Look I’m here, no more badguys alright. We’ll just get you home and call that a save.” Sasha smiled, hoping that her ‘brave-face’ was getting though the obscuring effect of the choker.
  28.
  29. In return though Yon shook her head. “Please no… I won’t feel safe there. The ABB… please just no.”
  30.
  31. “You can get protection you know.” Sasha replied, thoughts turning to the Police.
  32.
  33. “… no way. I’ll just disappear. I know how these things go. They can’t protect me all the time. And just keeping records the way they do means I can’t ever be sure someone won’t see it.” The girl argued, focused on something other than the gibbering fear of what had almost been her fate for the first time for the night.
  34.
  35. “No offense, but I doubt you’re that special. ABB’s been grabbing girls all over the place for years. I mean it’s pretty common knowledge. One or two slipping through the cracks shouldn’t be a problem. You probably aren’t worth the effort for them.” Sasha tried to assure, only to be met with a sad sour expression and another not to the negative.
  36.
  37. “Look… please just… trust me. Tonight wasn’t their usual slave trading you know? And I’ve got plenty of good reasons to keep away from anything that might actually get me back in their clutches.” The girl pleaded. “I just need a place, a few days to heal and some money so I can skip town. Hospital will get me killed. Just… please trust me.”
  38.
  39. Ugg… why the hell did she have to actually go talk to the girl? Making things more complicated? Unfortunately she did have a point. It had seemed a bit suspicious that they’d be trading a single fresh girl as part of such a deal that seemed otherwise clean cut. As if she was just some last minute extra there to sweeten relations after the fact. Sasha couldn’t say that she liked that at all.
  40.
  41. The girl was definitely trouble.
  42.
  43. Still she stopped at the nearest Payphone and made the call to report both the criminals and request medical attention for them. She wasn’t quite so heartless to leave them both without phones and without some attention to be paid to them before rain or some other condition turned their naked uncomfortable night into something unintentionally deadly.
  44.
  45. “Look… Yon. I don’t particularly have a place to put you...” Sasha grimaced, imagining herself bringing home the half naked Asian girl to her roommate. Or taking her into Empire territory in her hideaway.”
