  1. Once upon a time, in an ethereal realm of ones and zeroes, there existed a chat.
  2.
  3. It was just one of many such chats... In that age, chats were quite common. Thousands were created each day... The value of one chat in a sea of billions seems minuscule because it really is.
  4.
  5. There was nothing special about this chat. Merely a group of random strangers who met on the internet and wanted a place to trash talk other people behind their back. It is a noble cause, and the internet is a perfect place for such questionable morality.
  6.
  7. The participants were nothing special either. Where the chat had a small bit of consistency, being hosted on skype, the sorrowful participants had no such thing. I guess you could generalize and call them all 'filthy weebs', but that would be doing an injustice to the poor few innocent of such traits; namely one named VincentBlack96.
  8.
  9. Days passed quietly on this forlorn chat... The members spent their time sadly memeing, making 3x3s and joking around, all in an effort to avoid the harsh truth of their weeby nature. While it seems an unfair assessment on my part, it was simply their reality. Days turned to weeks and then weeks to months, yet the tides always turn on peace and quiet. As any drama writer would tell you: "life only _gits gud_ at episode X". When questioned, the same drama writers will tell you that X refers to wherever you are in life +3 years.
  10.
  11. Thus, the chat would come to learn that not all good things come to those who wait.
  12.
  13. Out of nowhere, a threat arised. A powerful, dark, yet compelling figure. She, because naturally it was a woman, went by the name of AmethystItalian. Many have wondered why no space exists between the 2 words but none have learned the answer and lived to tell the tale.
  14.
  15. Though malevolent and devious as she may seem, Amethyst started off friendly and charming. She made her way into the chat with assured footsteps and the added perk of being a grill on the internet. Thus would start one of the longest and most evil cons in the history of skype chats.
  16.
  17. Having secured her position as one of the oldest members of the chat, a position that she rightfully earned, she began silently planning her coup d'etat. The end goal: The termination of the chat.
  18.
  19. Little did the members know that their largest threat yet would come from within.
  20.
  21. Slowly but surely, Amethyst started her conquest. The first step was installing an image of a clumsy and often drunk girl into the minds of the others. The kind of background character no one would suspect of treachery. A perfect front. Having had a great deal of time to cement that personality, Amethyst began moving to more ambitious projects. Namely, drilling metaphorical holes in the foundation of the chat.
  22.
  23. The second step hit two birds with one stone: Convince chat that Amethyst was lacking in technological knowledge. This might sound easy, but with a mission on that scale, Amethyst spared no effort in creating a layered web of lies to completely fool the unsuspecting members. Some of her lies even reached meme status. To this day, all chat members speak of 'tape' as if it was legendary. That was how subtle Amethyst's work was.
  24.
  25. At long last, the time had come to spring the trap. The chat members were all blissfully ignorant of the evil within, and Amethyst had conquered the chat's will enough that knowing would not matter at this point. And so she presented her coup de grace.
  26.
  27. As any decent liar would know, the key to successful lies is supporting them, either with your general personality or disposition, or with fake or circumstantial evidence. Amethyst went with a perfect excuse: One that utilizes both her _supposed_ past and her completely fabricated personality: Her laptop could not handle skype.
  28.
  29. It's so simple, yet so intelligent. With a stroke of genius, Amethyst used all of the pieces set on the board and with one swift move, put the chat on checkmate.
  30.
  31. To newcomers, all they will hear is that the chat once used to be on skype. It was moved for one reason or another.
  32.
  33. But to Amethyst, the truth is known.
  34.
  35. And me? I choose to live another day and not disclose my name. I wanted to leave this record here to state that: Discord, for better or worse, was not our choice. It never was. We were coerced from the shadows and yet barely felt their touch. I end my story here, for providing more detail could uncover my identity. I fear what Amethyst would do to whoever uncovers her secrets, and I also fear that the others, brainwashed weebs that they are, may fall on her side.
  36.
  37. In hopes of living another day,
  38.
  39. V~
