ZU Monotype VR - By Ho3n

From the monotype VR:
 "Monotype ranks Pokemon differently from OU’s VR. In OU Pokemon are often ranked based on how many roles the Pokemon can perform."
This is the goal that was kept in mind for ZU monotype, however with keeping limitations in mind. For example, Monferno is the Fighting type that can use Stealth Rock. That uniqueness for having such a needed move makes it incredibly viable for Fighting, even if it does not exactly have the most favorable match ups itself. Other types have limitations that are also severe: Poison has no Stealth Rock users, Steel has no Defog users, and Ghost has no Pokemon that is neutral to Ghost's weaknesses. These limitations were kept in mind hand in hand with the positive match ups the mon gives. So even if a mon has something unique for the type, it might not be worth mentioning.

S Tier: Excels at the role it provides and is relatively needed for the unique or specialized assets and positive matchups it brings to the type.
A tier: Provides needed team building roles and match ups better than others in the type.
B tier: Has niche roles and advantages for the type and match up.
C tier: Has especially niche rolls for the type that needs increasing team support to work or be validated.
D tier: Brings nothing worthy for the type and is likely outclassed. Everything not listed for the type is D tier.
