  1. Yesterday afternoon, I’d spent several hours training with Lisa, teaching her the same martial arts I used. In the course of that time, I’d shot up from just below B-Rank to a hair’s breadth from A-Rank. It was a massive increase, easily triple as much as I would normally get in a single day’s effort by myself — and, in light of that, it was now obvious that I would learn a skill quicker if I was also teaching it to someone — but in spite of that massive jump, there was nothing different about me.
