  1. Activity 1-
  2. Students are to be given a map of the United States, and they are to try to identify where Appalachia is located. Afterwards, their prediction will be compared with the map below from ARC.

  9. Using the map above, have students come up with and discuss reasons why certain parts of Appalachia are more at risk.
