- Colin McRae Rally 2.0 GBA FAQ
- Q: I didn't know this was for GBA.
- A: There's a reason for that. This game isn't good.
- Q: What categories are there?
- A: Rally and Arcade, with the 3 difficulties (Novice, Intermediate, Expert). Each difficulty has more stages than the previous, thus being longer.
- Q: How does this game play?
- A: Shitty tbh. Everything drifts, poor depth perception, because the camera is pointed at the car in the middle of the screen.
- Q: Why Novice?
- A: Shortest and I haven't tried anything else.
- Q: What's Novice?
- A: Rally through 6 countries, 4 stages each.
- Q: Other than driving well, what time saves are there?
- A: Suspension tuning makes all the difference. The menuing is fast, so tuning doesn't lose anything, and makes it back up and more with an easier car to drive.
- Q: How do you tune?
- A: Max steering response, and stiffest spring rate if the terrain isn't mud or wet stuff. Still don't know whether or not to adjust the power balance.
- Q: Automatic or Manual?
- A: Auto, the game moves too quick to pay attention to the gears.
- Q: Do you listen to the co-driver?
- A: No, since the arrows that appear coordinate with the co-driver's calls.
- Q: Hardest stage?
- A: UK, 'cause the mud is shit to drive in, and I can't find a setup that makes it any easier.
- Q: Better or worse than PS1?
- A: Worse by a mile. PS1 CMR 2.0 is the best rally game for the console, this is bad.
- Q: Why are you running it, then?
- A: Somehow I enjoy it.
