  1. * Carmen_Chapman continues walking back where they came from, looking for the path
  2. <ProcyonA> its not hard to find it, as its slighgly raised from the ground
  3. * Maddox follows Carmen to the path, also seeing it
  4. * Carmen_Chapman heads down the path in the direXon they were walking before they got distracted
  5. <ProcyonA> You enter into... a spooky forest
  6. <ProcyonA> it starts to get darker on the path fromt he trees.
  7. <ProcyonA> you ever been to any of the hikes up on skyline?
  8. * Maddox pulls out his phone and turns on the flashlight.
  9. <Carmen_Chapman> "Coooooooool"
  10. <Carmen_Chapman> ((yeah I have))
  11. * Maddox glances over his shoulder every 5-10 seconds
  12. <ProcyonA> ((kind of like that, not super dark, but wooded.))
  13. <Maddox> ((Ah, so no need for flashlight. That goes off.))
  14. <Maddox> ((Still do the shoulder check though.))
  15. * Carmen_Chapman puts on her pink tinted glasses, reaching out to hold MaddoX's hand as they walk
  16. * Maddox takes it.

  18. <ProcyonA> The woods are beautiful.
  19. <ProcyonA> It is utterly, completely quiet.
  20. <ProcyonA> There are no birds, or rusling leaves, or animals.
  21. <ProcyonA> Silence.
  22. <ProcyonA> You walk for a good 15 minutes without anything exciting.

  24. <Maddox> "No monsters, and this place is great."

  61. * Carmen_Chapman continues walking, holding MaddoX's hand

  64. <Maddox> "Mine took me to the bottom of the cliff my house is on."
  65. <Maddox> "Down there I found a cave which took me underground.
  66. <Maddox> "I got deeper and deeper until I found an underground city!"

  68. <Carmen_Chapman> "I think u said somethin bout a city before"
  69. <Maddox> "That's when Three Basilisk, then Eight Ogres, then a giant monster attacked.
  70. <Maddox> I ran after the giant one attacked."
  71. <Maddox> "Then I came here."
  72. <Carmen_Chapman> "I betchu could wreck that giant one now!!!"
  73. * Maddox 's eyes go wide and he shakes his head vigorously.
  74. <Maddox> "No... no I couldn't."
  75. <Maddox> "It was at least fifty feet tall, had screams that deafened, and its hand could probably crush my body by itself."
  76. * Carmen_Chapman 's jaw drops
  77. * Maddox goes silent there, continuing to walk
  78. * Carmen_Chapman swallows silently, not liking the thought of that monster crushing MaddoX
  79. <ProcyonA> YOu continue walking, never deviating from the path
  80. <Carmen_Chapman> "I.... Im glad u got away n came here"
  81. <Maddox> "Yeah. I am too. I try not to think about it."
  82. <Maddox> "Its on that list with the other stuff that happened."
  83. * Carmen_Chapman nods silently, continuing to walk down the path with MaddoX, looking around to see if anything is different all the way down here
  84. * Carmen_Chapman squeezes MaddoX's hand appreciatively
  85. * Maddox squeezes back
  86. * Maddox continue walking. However long its taking.
  87. <ProcyonA> You encounter on a large rock lying ont he side of the pat.
  88. <ProcyonA> Its quite nice, covered in moss and looks like it could be climbable
  89. <Carmen_Chapman> "Thats a really big rock!!!"
  90. <Maddox> "Yeah. Lets stop walking for a bit."
  91. <Carmen_Chapman> "Hiking round my cabin back home u could find stuff like this all over!"
  92. * Carmen_Chapman closes her eyes and smiles for a moment
  93. <Carmen_Chapman> "Mmmmm n then u go out on the lake.... n theres the wind in the trees....."
  94. * Maddox smiles as well
  95. <Carmen_Chapman> "n round the bend theres the big rock wall..... n the beaver dam...."
  96. * Carmen_Chapman inhales deeply through her nose as she opens her eyes
  97. <Carmen_Chapman> "Just doesnt smell the same here.... too dusty!"
  98. <Carmen_Chapman> "Not s much green stuff everywhere n water n animals n stuff"
  99. * Carmen_Chapman goes over to poke at some of the moss on the rock
  100. <Carmen_Chapman> "Poke poke.... poke."
  101. <Carmen_Chapman> "Moss is p weird!"
  102. <Maddox> "But hey, at least its some life."
  103. <Carmen_Chapman> "S like... fuzzy green shit that grows everywhere!"
  104. <Maddox> "Even if there aren't really any animals around."
  105. * Maddox sits on the rock
  106. <Carmen_Chapman> "How do u even grow on roX? I dont get it"
  107. <Maddox> "I don't remember."
  108. * Carmen_Chapman shrugs, hopping up neXt to MaddoX
  109. * Carmen_Chapman tries to get up to the top to look around
  110. <ProcyonA> YOu notice as you stray from the path, the surroundings on the other side of the rock seem... lessd etailed.
  111. <ProcyonA> less stuff populates the forest
  112. * Maddox squints at the area past the rock
  113. <Maddox> "The forest looks weird from here..."
  114. * Maddox goes a bit further and inspects a tree beyond the rock
  115. <Carmen_Chapman> "Yeah.... the fuck???"
  116. <ProcyonA> at this point, the tree is still mstly tree like.
  117. <ProcyonA> On the other side, its just brown
  118. <Carmen_Chapman> "Whaddya see?"
  119. <Carmen_Chapman> "Somethin wrong with that tree?"
  120. * Carmen_Chapman giggles a bit
  121. <Maddox> "look at this side of the tree."
  122. <Carmen_Chapman> "U look funny all lookin at that tree up close!"

  127. * Carmen_Chapman continues looking around from her perch atop the rock, occasionally looking through her pearl tinted glasses to check for things
  128. <Maddox> "This tree doesn't have bark. Or detail. It's just flat brown!"

  130. * Maddox goes a bit further to another tree
  131. <Carmen_Chapman> "Whaaaa...? Ive never seen a tree like that before!!!"

  133. <ProcyonA> the next tree past it is just brown and smooth all over
  134. <ProcyonA> if you were seeing it from the path, you wouldnt have looked twice
  135. * Maddox suddenly gets very scared.

  137. <Maddox> "These trees aren't real."
  138. * Maddox looks around for anyone or anything in all directions

  145. <Carmen_Chapman> "HAHAHAHA!"
  146. * Carmen_Chapman pulls out her chainsaw and maXe to cut down one of the trees MaddoX said might be fake
  147. * Carmen_Chapman tries to cut the tree down to see if its fake
  148. <ProcyonA> You cut it down and it looks like its made of some kind of plastic, or maybe cruxite if you want to be fancy
  149. <Carmen_Chapman> "Whew!!! Havent done that in a lil while!"
  150. <Carmen_Chapman> "Thats totes not wood though!"
  151. <Carmen_Chapman> "What... Idk even what this shit is!"

  155. * Maddox slices open the nearest rock, and a bit of the floor with his axesabers
  156. <ProcyonA> the floor and rocks are amde of the same stuff.

  192. <ProcyonA> It takes a bit of effort but you tear through the wall.
  193. <ProcyonA> You guys ever seen the back of a movie set? looks like that. the wall goes up pretty high, the corn fields continue on the other side.

  199. <ProcyonA> The biggest thign is that to the left and right, the set only continues about 1 feet, yet youve bene walking for ages

  202. * Maddox looks at the termination of the forest set

  204. * Maddox runs around to the other end of the set, looking in that side of the forest
  205. <ProcyonA> From behind you, still inside the hallway, there is a rustling
