  1. Honestly, I don't know when or why Zygarde chose me, but I'm pretty sure of the where.
  2.
  3. I work in a hospital in Motostoke, where a large majority of cases we get are injuries from the Wild Area. I'm not saying that most of them are caused by cocky young upstarts underestimating the sheer power of the Pokemon contained within....
  4.
  5. Actually, that's exactly what I'm saying, but off the books.
  6.
  7. Anyway, I suppose Zygarde arrived in the guise of one of those victims, though they could have arrived as a patient who had issues not caused by a Machoke ramming them at high speeds. We do get a good number of those unrelated cases too.
  8.
  9. From what I've heard about Zygarde, it seems to be the mediator between Xerneas (aka the 'everyone lives' Pokemon) and Yveltal (aka the 'everyone dies' Pokemon). So the Legendary appearing in a hospital isn't so farfetched.
  10.
  11. You see, everyone likes to think life in a hospital is like one of their television dramas. Even if hardships arise, they manage to figure out the exceedingly rare mystery ailment or miraculously heal the person that was on death's door when they arrived. All bookended by relationship drama and The Fray playing in the background.
  12.
  13. Here's the thing, us doctors, we can't save everyone. I mean, we certainly try, but at some points, when it comes down to it, being a doctor is not just about saving lives but letting people die with comfort and dignity. The thin line between life and death. The mediator.
  14.
  15. All these people telling these stories about how they met their legendary. Stories of trauma and heartache. Yet, if you had shown me the form Zygarde took when they had chosen me as a β€œvessel”, I suppose....I probably would not even recognize them. I've seen many people enter and leave the hospital, whether alive or in body bags. Remembering them all would be too much.
