Fallout 4 Retextures

If there's one thing I know about playing Bethesda games, it's retextures.  I can make my game look nice, even if it's wrecked by weird CTDs and other buggy shit.  These are my texture recommendations.  I use mostly 4k and it runs pretty smooth on my i7 7700k/GTX 1080 setup.   I'll post what I use and even link to a few alternates for some things.  As far as Fallout goes, I like buildings to look gritty and I love the decaying building aesthetic.  I like the foliage to look nice and lush.  One thing I won't cover in this is waifan/husbandan.  It's shit in FO4 and someone else can deal with that.

Most everything in here, with the exception of maybe luxor's textures (because they are really that good), are in order of installation.


Base texture packs:
First off, I use these as a base. They are not great, but it's better than vanilla and covers things that haven't been otherwise covered.

The next retexture packs are a lot better.  I kind of pick and choose what I prefer from these.  They are made from scratch and have before and after pictures, so you can see the difference.  The packs by luxor are my favorites.  I let his override almost everything.
