- Magic programs are composed of psions, which are transferred from the magician to the world.
- Events are also made up of their own information bodies, which are in turn composed of the same psions, so some liken a program's alteration properties to a computer virus. The world has a recovery mechanism that attempts to retain temporal fluidity, so the effects of magic programs don't last forever. However, because this power of recovery keeps temporal relations stable, if one continues altering the world with magic for long enough, the alterations can sometimes become established in the world as truth. Magical healing techniques use this property.
