#CrowsAndClaws pt. 1: Arrival

[11/26. Quezon City, Philippines. Ninoy Aquino International Airport. 7:06 AM]

11/26. The time at this hour is 7:06 AM(Manila Time) in the Philippines. Sleeper just arrived after 11 hour flight from Manhattan, NY to Quezon City, Philippines as he waits for his luggage. While he waits, he decides to buy a coffee first in a nearby café inside airport to drink along with the donuts that Rogue(@RogueEmAll) gave to him. As he goes to the café bring a dozen of strawberry jelly-filled donuts with him to order himself a cup of coffee, he noticed 4 thugs surrounding a helpless man. They are trying to get the briefcase he's carrying that is filled with important documents that their boss possessed. "Huh..?" He glances at what's happening as he gets his coffee & leaves his payment at the counter.

He then leaves the box of donuts at his table and approaches the group to stop them.  One of the thugs are about to beat the defenseless businessman. Just as one fo them raise their fist, Ed places his hand at his shoulder to stop him. "Hey." He spoke. "I dunno what's going on, but did you know beating a defenseless man makes you look like a coward?.Plus, you're making a scene here.." He implied while sipping his coffee. The thug then replied as he turns around staring at Ed, but his english is not that great. "Eh? What's your problem? This is none of your uh.. business, okay?" Ed just nods in respond wiping his mouth a bit. "Yeah, it's none of my business. I'm just stating the facts here." Just as Ed continues to sip his coffee, the thug looks away and mumbles in tagalog. "(This guy's too cocky..)" Annoyed by Sleeper's words, he slaps the coffee off Sleeper's hand as he spilled it.

The thug smirk at what he just did. "Oops~ Your coffee spilled. My bad." The thug then laugh afterwards along with his fellow thugs. Ed remains calm but his eyes starts to narrow at him. ". . . You shouldn't done that.." He calmly replied. "Never spill a person's good cup of joe.. Especially from someone who is lacked of sleep..!" As Ed exclaimed, the thug grits his teeth gripping his right fist. "You think you're so cool right now, eh?" The thug then cracks his knuckles. "We'll deal with that businessman later, I'll teach you a lesson first." The thug then glances at his friends and spoke in Tagalog. "(Oi, let's kick his ass, boys!)". Spilling someone's coffee is not a good idea, but the thugs did. Ed just sighs as he already dealt alot of crap back in America. Namely with the assailant who shot her though his lungs named 'Mad Ch!ck'. He snaps his neck raising his fists. "Sorry. But you three idiots are going to regret this.." He then raises his fist, ready to take down these thugs.

The thug at the left rushes to Ed first by performing a swing fist to his face, but Ed quickly evades the attack by lean back a bit before he grabs his arm and bents it half and then followed by grabbing the thug's face and forces him to fall down on his back causing the thug's skull to let out a loud thud cracking his skull. As he gets up, anothet thug sneaks behind him to deliver a kick his back. But Ed senses him from behind and turns around. Ed caught the thug's leg mid-kick and proceeded to run between the mook's legs while still holding on to the leg he'd caught, twisting said leg and causing the mook to fall hard on his face and he ends it up by stomping the back of his head before he could get up. As this is happening, a passenger who is sipping his morning coffee saw what is happening. This got him curious as he just watch the commotion.

Now, with onl two thugs left, Ed catches his breath and raises his fists as he signals them to bring with a smirk. Provoked, the remaining thugs rushes to him with their fist raised ready to take Ed down. Ed eventually one of the thug's hits, taking the punch to his right waist with a grunt. As the other is about to connect his fist to his face, Ed snatches his wrist and tosses him over his shoulder and slams him to the ground and ends it by twisting his arm while he's on the ground. Ed then lets go of the thug's arm and walks to the last one. But before he could do that, he stomps the thug below him 4 time and rushes to the remaining thug. The last thug lets out a balisong(butterfly knife) with a grin ready to stab down Ed. The thug swings his balisong at his opponent as he slashes Ed's chest, but not deeper. Ed grabs the thug's right wrist and grips it tight to let go of his balisong and snatches it from him. Ed decides to end this by delivering an hard punch to the thug's gut while gripping the balisong, following by a palm to his chin with his other hand and a double straight punches to his chest as he slams at the metal wall near the café slowly lumps down.

But just as the last thug's slumps to the ground, he grabs his collar and glares at his eyes. He then raises the thug's balisong and does a few tricks before he closes it then his nose. The thug groans his pain while holding his nose as Ed shook his head before shoving him to his left letting him fall to the ground. "Gago.." He mumbled in tagalog. The passenger from afar was impressed at Ed's display with a smirk. Sadly, as Ed is about to get another cup of coffee since the thugs made him spill it, security guards inside the airport saw what happened within their surveillance cameras and points their guns at Ed inside the café. "DON'T MOVE!" One of the security guards shouted at him as Ed complies by raising his hands in the air.

One of the guards carefully approaches him and cuffs his hands behind with a handcuff. "You're under arrest for causing a ruckus here. The guard is speaking english to Ed as he cuffs him up. "H-Hold on..! I-I'm just helping that businessman that's being cornered by those thugs..!" He implied as he's talking about the businessman, but he already escaped while Ed deals with the thugs that want his briefcase. "(Che. Just tell us yours story while you're behind bars. C'mon." The security guards escort Ed out of the airport as they are going to take him to the nearby police station to put him there for possibly a night or two. As they escorted Ed out of the airport waiting for the police van to come, the passenger from earlier sees them. The passenger approaches Ed from behind and whispers to him. "Nice performance you did there. Shame that these cops will put you behind bars. So much for coming home." Ed didn't not appreciate the passenger's words, but he remains silent trying his best not to beat this guy. "Pardon, but it seems the van's here. Sorry if this happens to you." The passenger finish whispering Ed as the cops then put him inside the van as they take him to the nearest police station to make him stay there for awhile.
