Being that the Principality of Samirkint is a bona fide realm of Tetra, beholden to none; and being that that peace, order and good governance demand the safety and security of the people; and being that the Kingdom of New Croissantland does exert itself toward those principles; I, Tancred Jack, do pledge the Principality of Samirkint and its service to Vyctyrra Knightcastle, Queen of New Croissantland, and her successors in that title, on the terms as follows.

I do pledge for the Principality that:
-I shall maintain peace within my borders and follow the Kingdom's policy of neutrality.
-With other realms and in the territories surrounding the Principality, I shall represent the Kingdom to the best of my skill, and where possible guide others in the peaceful resolution of conflicct.
-I shall participate in the councils of the Kingdom as requested, and work to accord with the decisions thereof.
-Though I may withdraw from this agreement, should I do so I shall return those gifts of dominion which I have received from New Croissantland, and any such which my vassals have received.

That, in return, the Kingdom of New Croissantland shall:
-Serve as liege and protector to Samirkint diplomatically and militarily, as requested by the Prince.
-Consult the Prince and the leading families of the Principality according to custom when matters of import to the realm are discussed.
-Affirm that as a Prince de jure and a Prince of the Kingdom, the Prince of Samirkint and his successors in that title may accept the allegiance of new vassals on appropriate terms.
