  1. Super Smash Bros. For Wii U/Nintendo 3DS Move List: Pokémon Trainer Serena
  2.
  3. Down + B: Pokémon Change
  4. Serena calls back the Pokémon currently on the stage and sends out the next one. The order of rotation is Froakie, Braixen and Chesnaught. Not only does a Pokémon recover from status effects when called back, but also can recover Stamina when in reserve.
  5.
  6. Final Smash: Pride of Kalos
  7. Serena calls out all three Pokémon before suddenly vanishing into the background. As the three starters stunlock the opponents with a combination of moves (Braixen’s Fire Spin, Chesnaught’s Frenzy Plant and Froakie’s Ice Beam), Serena comes riding in on a Gogoat that performs Take Down, knocking the opponent out of the stage. Serena falls off Gogoat and into the background, and all Pokémon except the active one are recalled.
  8.
  9. Chesnaught
  10. Neutral B: Spiky Shield
  11. Chesnaught raises his arms and forms a spiked shield in front of it. If any physical attack hits the shield, Chesnaught responds by thrusting his arms out and hitting the opponent with the spikes. The shield can be aimed upward by holding B and pressing up on the control stick, or downward in the air in a similar fashion.
  12.
  13. Side + B: Double Edge
  14. Chesnaught dashes forward, singing his arms. Extra presses of B add two more attacks to the combo.
  15.
  16. Up + B: Seismic Toss
  17. Chesnaught leaps into the air, grabbing airborne opponents and swinging them around before throwing them. The direction captured opponents are thrown in can be dictated by holding the control stick in that direction during the duration of the move. Downward Seismic Toss acts like a Meteor Smash and is a guaranteed K.O. off the edge of the stage.
  18.
  19. Braixen
  20. Neutral B: Mystical Fire
  21. Braixen uses the wand on her torch to fire a telekinetic flame. Whilst this works in a similar fashion to Zelda’s Din’s Fire, the move is controlled in a manner akin to Ness’ PK Thunder.
  22.
  23. Side + B: Light Screen
  24. Braixen summons a shimmering wall of psychic power in front of it. This screen deflects any and all projectiles aimed a Braixen, but shatters when hit by physical attacks. However, this grants Braixen a hit of Armour, allowing it to escape.
  25.
  26. Up + B: Flame Charge
  27. Braixen leaps upwards, surrounded by fire. A mix of Mario’s Super Jump Punch and Fox’s Fire Fox, this attack is a good anti-air.
  28.
  29. Froakie:
  30. Neutral B: Lick
  31. Froakie licks at the air in front of it. This move briefly stuns opponents that get hit by the tongue.
  32.
  33. Side + B: Water Shuriken
  34. Froakie fires off a shuriken made of high-pressure water. A second one can be thrown by pressing B again.
  35.
  36. Up + B: Bounce
  37. Froakie jumps up, and then comes down again in a kind of stomp. The initial jump, whilst not very high, can be used to dodge projectiles or thrown items.
