Her parents are both incredibly caring individuals, constantly showering Sora with praise and affection to ensure they love her, disability and all, though this does mean that they somewhat neglect their other child. They're supportive and loving towards both children.

As much as she loves Sora, due to Sora's age range, her younger sister, Seulgi, often feels jealous or resents her older sister for getting all the attention from their parents, feeling as if she is pushed away in favour of her older sister. This causes her to sometimes lash out at Sora out of irritation. In addition, it doesn't help that her parents always encourage Seulgi to take care of or entertain Sora, and as an angsty teenager, Seulgi has many objections to this, ignoring or spitting venomous remarks at Sora, and even if she feels guilt and the need to apologise afterwards, her pride gets in the way and she doesn't know how to. Sora isn't an idiot too, she can tell that her sister doesn't like her, and feels somewhat responsible for her younger sisters happiness as the older sibling. All in all, they don't have a very good relationship.

Sejin is Sora’s best friend, an autistic boy from the school she goes to, who looks up to her greatly due to her 'protecting’ him from bullies. The two often meet up in the night for walks in the park or to do reckless, childish things. Even though Sora is the leader between the two of them, Sejin has no problem following her anywhere. Despite their friendship being purely platonic, many people like to tease that they'll eventually get married.

BACKGROUND ➤
         Sora comes from a normal, loving family who have all accepted her for who she is and dote of her constantly. However, the attention and care that comes into play from being disabled means that her younger sister Seulgi is pushed away more by her parents, who often have to take care of her. Unfortunately, this causes Seulgi to feel somewhat bitter towards Sora, and even though she mostly ignores Sora when she wants to play, sometimes she starts childish arguments about insignificant things Sora does that irritates her, which eventually escalates to them full on shouting. It doesn't help that her parents constantly chide Seulgi to get along with Sora, encouraging her to play with her, even when she has friends around, which Seulgi finds humiliating.
          It was Seulgi who had originally bought the game after the rest of her friendship group started gushing about it, wanting to get in on the new trend. Sora had been looking for her elephant plushie, Socks, in her younger siblings room (she often hid it from her), and had found the otome game still in the plastic bag in the floor. Curiosity compelled her to pick it up and play, and even by doing so she might have saved her sister, she might have also condemned herself.

CHARACTER INFORMATION

PERSONALITY ➤
          Although smarter than what others would expect, Sora is naive, possessing both the innocence and mind of a young child, and being unfamiliar to violence and concepts of sex. Competitive and stubborn, Sora’s not one to easily accept a defeat or a victory without it having been challenging, nor to give up halfway through something she has set her mind on. She enjoys company, a social butterfly who flourishes when around others, and with her cheeky smile and playful laughter it would be hard to dislike her, even though she can be largely irritating. She still maintains at least some level of maturity though; living with a younger sister has left her with a sense of responsibility and motherly instinct towards her friends and family, and she's loyal to a fault, immediately risking herself to help them.
          However, despite the amiable personality it brings, having the heart of a child has downsides. Despite being caring, sometimes her selfishness rears its head. Sora trusts much too easily and is prone to having her heart broken as a result of it. Despite the fact that she desperately wants to be able to do things on her own she's fragile and dependable, unknowingly vulnerable against danger, easily scared when alone, and has a wild imagination that can run rampant, hallucinating monsters lurking in the shadows. She will always need someone to hold her hand, and if she's going to make it out of Cloud 9 alive, she needs to learn the world isn't painted with sunshine and rainbows like she thought.

LIKES AND HOBBIES ➤
❀ Hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows on cold winter days.
❀ Sports, especially track, baseball and tennis, as she seems to have a natural talent for them.
❀ Small spaces that she can hide in. They make her feel cosy and safe.
❀ Plushies; her favourite one is Hopscotch, an wild, worn rabbit plushie from when she was born. Playing with her plushie is always a pastime she indulges in when feeling particularly strong emotions such as excitement, anger, etc.
❀ Pretending to be James Bond and sneaking around with finger guns in tense situations. She also insists that they use code names like real spies.

❀ Daydreaming is something Sora can sit for hours and do, sometimes playing pretend that she's a spy or an explorer. She was never really into the mundane fantasy of being a princess, instead preferring something exciting and perhaps on the dangerous side.

❀ Animals; she's a little bit scared of them, especially small dogs and gorillas.
❀ The dark; although it's not a fear, she still has to have a nightlight on.
❀ Not getting what she wants; although she is quite a nice girl, she has moments of brattiness.
❀ Shoes; She hates wearing shoes, claiming they hurt her feet, and prefers to go around either barefoot, or just with socks on.
❀ Crowds of people; despite being a sociable girl, Sora hates being around too many people for too long, quickly becoming overwhelmed and hiding behind others. Her throat will feel closed off and she won't be able to speak well.
❀ Confrontation; being the stubborn person she is, even though Sora knows she's wrong, she hates it when people call her out on it because she feels like she's backed into a corner, and sometimes guilty.
❀ Crying; Sora hates the vulnerability that comes hand in hand with honestly crying in front of someone. Although she's great at crocodile tears to get what she wants, honest crying is just so humiliating to her. It doesn't help that she's sensitive, and is a bit of a crybaby.

It was her sister who actually bought the game with the intention to play it the next day, however, Sora found it first.

❀ Whenever Sora is feeling anxious or uneasy she will request anyone near her to hold her hand and call her Soso. Her mother does this when she's feeling anxious, so it calms her down and allows her to think clearly.
❀ Sora has an incredible talent for sports and is very active, joining the baseball, tennis and track club.
❀ Has scary accuracy when it comes to hitting things, whether it be getting a crumpled piece of paper into the bin on the other side of the room, or hitting people's heads with elastic bands.

WITH MISSIONS ➤
❀ She's walking through an empty zoo in the middle of the night, and has to find her way to the exit. While walking she realises that unlike every other exhibit which is just devoid of creatures, the gorilla one has clearly been broken through, glass shards littering the floor. Later, after she finds the exit, she realises that standing between her and the exit is a forest. Unbeknownst to her, that forest is full of massive gorillas with red eyes and bodies dark enough to blend into the pitch black, who will try to hunt her down.
❀ She's being chased by the monsters under her bed, which is honestly a really grotesque and terrifying deformation that resembles huge wolves, and eventually has to kill them.
❀ She's in front of a massive chasm with only thin podiums separating her from the exit. She has to leap across each one to get to safety, but the room is also filling up with water very quickly, and there are unknown water creatures that are going to drag her under.
❀ She is in a room with only two TVs in front of her, as well as four button, left, right, forward, and straight. On one monitor is another player who is currently undergoing a challenge who's outcome will depend on Sora. Basically, Sora has to solve riddles or puzzles in the room which are displayed on the first monitor, and depending on whether or not she gets it right, a new pathway will appear to the player on the other monitor that will lead them to either a safe room, or an unsafe room.

WITH THE LOVE INTEREST ➤
❀ In a very tense situation where they're trying to sneak around, Sora insists on using finger guns and spy nicknames for each other.
❀ They're sat underneath an apple tree together, and Sora is behind him plaiting his hair and talking to each other softly.
❀ Sora doesn't want to sleep alone because she's nervous that something's going to hop out at her. Sheepishly, she calls Tae to watch her until she goes to sleep. Tae sits on a nearby tree, and sings her to sleep.
❀ Sora starts crying like a little kid and Taehyung's desperately tries to cheer her up.
❀ They engage in a childish fight that involves throwing grass and leaves at each other, which then ends in stroppy silence.

IN DAILY LIFE ➤
❀ Flashback to when she went to the zoo as a twelve year old. She really didn't want to go due to her fear of animals, but it was her younger sister’s birthday so she made an effort. When they got into the gorilla section of the tour one of the gorillas ran up to the glass and bashed it inches away from her and her sister. Instinctively Seulgi grabbed Sora's hand for comfort, and Sora found herself taking a protective stance with Seulgi hidden safely behind her as she shouted at the gorilla, who eventually lost interest and wandered off.
