- As crusader lords who uphold the Triarchist faith the du Trent family rose to prominence in the crusades as army leaders and faith-bringers. Conquering and striking out to bring the wisdom of the Triarchy to all. Their conquests brought them north where they were granted a domain and founded an Order against the Ostern pagans. The Order of the Three Headed Bull. The du Trent family had traveled, over generations, untold miles away from their ancestral home of Habitance but the family holds true to their tradition for the heir to House and Order make a pilgrimage on foot and return with the blessing of the Triarchy High Chancellor to claim leadership. Since the founding it has grown in strength and piety ready to repel or invade the savage pagans.
- The people under the Order are split between sons of the order’s knights, soldiers and auxiliaries and the natives who adapted. They are a tough people who make out a living plying the trades that keep the order well equipped, farming and raising cattle, or working the mines. The well-established trade of arms and armors in the counties can fetch a considerable sum in the river lands and other militant border counties. As strict Triarchists they dislike the neighboring pagans and Salubrines. As the people of a long enduring Order they understand that one should not fight on too many fronts especially with the Pagans so close. Their demeanor towards the Imperial Capital is one where they believe they can function well enough without its influences since with the wisdom of their religion they can take care of their own business. Their feelings toward the Empire is amicable as there is a long standing tradition of fighting the northern raiders and a respect for fellow militant-centralists.
