[18:01] Having had its victory mere days ago the demon still cultivated the power of the essence it stole from the boy, Now it had what it needed to further advance itself.

Utilizing all the methods it new how to increase its abilities. Time magic would be used to quickly inscribe runes words that took shape into a Black magic circle array. From there Ravias inscribed various codes into the black circle, Using the staff it could easily manipulate and shift the runes how he desired.

It took hours of work and editing the spell circle to have the desired effect the demon wanted, To wither away life, While Draining the essence that's left behind by the rotted corpse. Almost as if taking ones Soul entirely.

He remembered the sensations of battle against that boy in the forests, How he moved and struck him with his sword. Much slower than the Knight he fought prior. The essence he'd stole from him would now be put to use.

Flames of Darkness and Time sparked around the demon as the mana within the circle would be invigorated. Another rabbit would be the victims this day, It sat on the rune circle waiting for nothing but death that would surely find it.

The sacrifice would soon be engulfed by the rotting fires of Darkness and Time, Destroying its body until nothing was left but decayed ash. Ravias was quite satisfied, But knew it would take more effort than just that. Now rune circle was charged with the blood and essence, And he could redraw it instantly by focusing his mind on it.

[18:16] The Demon still focused on drawing the circle making sure he could summon the magic immediately while during battle. Reminding itself of how quickly the Nysean Knight moved and how it would be either life or death if he could not slow his foes down in the same manner.

The next task would be to slow the charge of a rampaging worm in the Mines. The demon stood prepared gathering darkness into itself as it watched the creature lurch forwards to attack him, The Rune circle manifested following the command of the demon's own mental image.

A spell that destroys life and erodes it with time, Not even the worm could resist such an attack although it was still far too incomplete. The creature writhed in pain as it slithered about its body not completely broken down like the rabbit.

It lashed out violently in order to end the Lesser Demons life and consume them instead. Ravias stood tall. Once again igniting the magic array in order to command his Dark and Time magic to act as one. Destruction Decay. Erosion.

The Occultic magic only furthering the deadly nature of the Time Magic, Manipulating the Timestream in a manner that would corrupt the flow as it did nothing but destroy.

Worms final death thralls made it aim to tackle the demon yet as it attempted to it was quickly deflected by the magic circle, As it immediately made contact the creature burned as its body was being engulfed in the Dark Flames of time itself.

Leaving nothing behind besides that thick grey decayed ash like the rabbit. Its time stolen from them entirely. It was slowly coming to fruition yet there were still some minor bugs within the rune structure the demon would have to iron out...

But he was quite impressed that he could create such a solid defensive Array although that wasn't what he first intended.

[18:25] After spending a few hours in the mines the demon would forcibly conjure new magic power his time magic efficiency only increasing while used in tandem with his occultism. He'd only need further practice with the dark magic array he'd been working on.

While he was able to create the magic to wither away life and decay it he now needed to focus his capabilities on 'Stealing' Time and Essence away from his foes. Making it so anyone who fought against him would feel the lingering effects of his deadly magic no matter how far they ran.

"This magic is quite difficult to control...I must improve upon my vision...and mental image..." The ability needed form, The Circles structure wasn't enough to allow it to manifest it needed a physical form it could breach into the world and apply its deadly effects.

The demon quickly thought of one. While it often used its claws to fight it could also do well with a long ranged attacks. A fog like miasma, Created from shadows that corrupted the time flow of anyone or anything that it interacted with.

The breath of a devil...or perhaps even a demon. The miasma spilled outwards like a pressurized jet, Once it came over its target it would be completely dissolved and decayed the occultic corruption eating away at any living target material while the Time magic eroded anything non living material.

A spell so dangerous that only a demon could've come up with it. The creatures in the Mines were left to rot bubbling pits of decay all around Ravias as he moved through the mines to collect his bounties. Satisfied with how far he's come to master his abilities. Only proof of how far he has yet to go.
