  1. [15:13] 'Maybe you should punch the lava again hun. Eheh.'
  2.
  3. The Oscuri's gaze shifted towards the lava for a few moments of contemplation. He'd punched it as a child of what? Fifteen? It'd been a way to show that he was a man, a Lord. He could do what he'd asked of those who served.
  4.
  5. The world was different now though the world was different. It wasn't about who could showcase the proper qualities of a leader or what family one was born into it. It was only about raw power and who had the most of it.
  6.
  7. Did he have enough power? No, he was barely strong enough to keep Aurum safe from those who'd use it as a place to practice their own desires. To harm or torture those still faithful to Azrael.
  8.
  9. Floating away from his home and the small gathering that'd been formed in front of it the Oscuri would drift above the water font. Emerald hues gazing through the intense heat down towards the lave bellow.
  10.
  11. It was hotter above the lava pool than he could have ever imagined. Yet, there it was below that sama lava. Mocking him, a sign of when he'd burnt his hand to a crips as a teen. Why did his children follow suit? WHy did strangers follow suit? Why did they attempt to test their power against the bubbling molten rock.
  12.
  13. Somewhere within their minds they knew that this volcano represented power. They'd no doubt wanted to test themselves against that representation. To show that they where strong enough to stand upon it.
  14.
  15. A shimmer of reika could be glimpses as it covered the Oscuri's frame. The green energies shimmering as the heat rushed against it. Bubbling chunks of rock pinging against the nearly unseen barrier.
  16.
  17. Slowly the Oscuri drew back their right arm, covered in scars and old burn marks. It'd been the arm burned by the lava so long ago, the arm boiled by the tar-rat, the arm burned by the Gargoyle, the arm crushed by the Godfather. It was the right arm of Ascalon.
  18.
  19. It was the right arm of Azrael.
  20.
  21. In a roar of raw emotion the Oscuri dived downwards into the pool of lave. Their fist hurtling ahead of them to meet it. The raw energies of the spirit realm funneling through their frame as they struck. Reika flashing in blinding emerald flashes as the heat and molten slage struck his barrier.
  22.
  23. That right hand hit the lave, sinking deeper, and deeper. At first it almost looked as if nothing would happen. Then the lava began to bubble, and finally it exploded outwards away from the Oscuri. All within a handful of seconds as a great crater of lava was formed!
  24.
  25. With a burst of wind magic the Oscuri hurtled themselves out of the volcano and back upon it's edge. They'd look down at their right arm. The shimmering reika still pulsed through his veins. The arm was just as scared as before just as blighted. Yet, it was unharmed at this moment.
  26.
  27. "Much better results than the first time."
  28. (Ascalon Zanders)
