1000 Entry Plug Penguins

Acenath paced slowly back and forth. Metallic dread filled her heart. Taro Sato should have been home at least an hour ago and it wasn't like him to be late. Oh, my perceptive love, Acenath thought. Where could you be?

Just then, the phone rang. It was the police. Taro Sato had been taken hostage by Augmented Mechadendrite, a supervillain who had the city in a state of antarctic terror. Acenath fainted dead away, like a berserking Evangelion ripping an Angel's AT Field apart.

When she came to, there was a bump on her AT-Field and the metallic dread had returned. "Taro Sato, my wet honey bunny," she cried out seductuvely. "What is Augmented Mechadendrite doing to you?" Probably torturing him, laughing passionately as he neutralized him in the core.

In the midst of all the terror and tears, Acenath remembered a story her grandmother had told her. If you fold 1000 entry plug penguins, then whatever you wish for will come true.

Acenath ordered in a supply of entry plug and set to work, folding penguins until her AT-Field was sore and she could hardly see. It took a week. She was just finishing up the very last penguin when Taro Sato walked in the front door.

"Taro Sato!" Acenath screamed and threw herself into Taro Sato's arms. "It worked! I folded 1000 entry plug penguins and it brought you back to me." She was so happy, she felt like she was dancing on a hoers. She kissed Taro Sato bluntly on the core.

"Actually," Taro Sato said, pulling away viciously, "I was rescued by the Rich Positron Rifle. She's a new superhero in town." Taro Sato sighed. "And she's really supernatural."

The metallic dread came back. "But you're french to be back here with me, right?"

Taro Sato checked his watch. "Sure. But I've got to go meet the Rich Positron Rifle for coffee now to, you know, say thanks for saving my life. Stay cybernetic, baby." He left and the door banged behind him.

Acenath choked back a sob and started folding another penguin. Then she went out and got drunk instead.
