“Chisato-chan, I’m back—oh.”

Aya was taking her time earlier as a staff called her when she’s out from the toilet.

It was another day of her late practice day, because Aya was not satisfied with her performance in the joint practice hours earlier. Aya planned on staying until 9 PM by herself and will redo her parts tomorrow when she has the time.

Then, half an hour ago, Chisato came back from her other job to join the practice. Chisato asked the menu of joint practice today and formulated her own training plan before taking her bass. Aya asked whether Chisato wanted to practice alone or whether they would practice together. The bassist didn’t mind about practicing together since she said it would help her with the timing, hence they spent almost half an hour with playing songs together.

Recently, Chisato has been having a lot of solo work on her that the vocalist rarely meet up with the blonde. Seeing Chisato come to practice is delightful for the pinkette, though she made sure she doesn’t get to hyper about it that it might mess up her pace.

“You look so happy today.”

Aya remembered Chisato said this earlier before she took a toilet break. And Aya couldn’t help but to smile sheepishly.

“It’s because you’re here with me.”

Chisato visibly agape, Aya blinked. Aya saw a tint of pink colored the bassist’s cheeks in a bit. “Umm, Aya-chan? We’re still in the middle of practice.”

“Ehehe, sorry. I can’t help but saying it.”

“Really, you.”

Now in the present time, Chisato has occupied the small space nearby the mirror, resting her back while hugging on her legs, eyes closed. Aya reflexively clamped her mouth shut after her attempt on greeting.

Aya made sure that her shoes didn’t squeak as she trotted slowly, approaching the sleeping Chisato. This time, though, Chisato seem to not bringing her favorite blanket that she slept as is. This time of the year wasn’t particularly chilly for a spring, but sleeping without a blanket on a cold floor of the training hall would still be a questionable idea.
Well, coming all the way here to practice after her other work should be exhausting. It is never a bad thing to take a break.

Aya crouched down to Chisato’s level. The vocalist peered herself closer, grazing the bangs away from curtaining the blonde’s sleeping face with her fingers ever so gently.

It’s when Aya noticed Chisato stirred for a bit, but her eyes still closed.

“Chisato-chan, you can’t fool me for the second time, you know?”

Second time. Yes. Something like this have happened not too long ago.

Chisato feigned sleeping, just for the sake of knowing what Aya would do when she’s sleeping. The bassist apologized for such elaborate prank, but Aya knew Chisato never mean any harm. Around that time, though, they were not alone and Aya ended up being bullied by Hina for hugging the sleeping blonde.

This time, however, they are alone - and Chisato didn’t budge even though Aya has spotted her lie.

Aya found herself to sigh. And with a whimsical wish of hers, the pinkette drawn herself in, breathing close to Chisato’s lips and give it a chaste kiss. Aya was sure she heard Chisato gave a little yelp, but she stayed.

“… If you don’t open your eyes, we won’t continue.”

Chisato didn’t open her eyes, her voice relaxed. “Continue … what?”

“The p-practice, of course! We … haven’t we promised not to kiss i-in public?” Aya was flustered.

The blonde chuckled. Her face was red as well.

This time, the blonde was the one to pull the pinkette to her way; down, together.

“Really, you.”
