Backstory:
Kai has a...widely traveled genealogy. Her grandmother was a practitioner fleeing Russia after the Revolution, falling for a English sorcerer and bearing him a daughter. Kai's mother, joining the Council and becoming a Warden, ended up in love with a native Hawaiian woman who ended up following her home to London.
Eventually, the wish for a child grew strong enough that both women made a deal with Titania to conceive...ending in Kai.
Kai grew up happily...until her mother died in the War with the Red Court. Despite the aggressive opposition from her other mother, Kai volunteered for Warden duty the moment she was old enough as an apprentice and spent the rest of her apprentice-hood playing backup to full Wardens in a learn-on-the-job kind of tutelage.
And then the War ended. The Council scrambled to fill all the vacant Warden slots in the world. And...well...Kai basically got the Warden positing on Hawai'i for the sole reason that she spoke both english and hawaiian and wouldn't stand out as the other candidate, a Warden from Iceland.
She made some grumpy noises about profiling. Though not in earshot of Luccio, though.

Skills:
Kai is an accomplished Battle Wizard, skilled with Fire, Earth and Water magic. Furthermore, she is an gifted swordswoman and pistol shot with all the experience implied in a War Veteran.
She also owns a Warden sword, the sword of her mother.

Fighting Style:
Kai prefers to start a fight with guns, if only to get a measure on the toughness of the opponent. Using them to either take them out at range or cover herself until she gets into good casting or sword range.
