- That seems like a cumbersome approach! Certainly - if the entire fossil-record doesn't exist then it necessarily follows that the "T-Rex" also didn't exist. But I hope you are reasonable enough to agree that to prove "unicorns don't exist" it's not worthwhile to argue that all animals don't exist - because it's self-evident that animals *do* exist _but that does not mean it's the case unicorns *must also* exist_.
- We are talking about the mighty "T-Rex" (one of my favourite "giant lizards"). If you insist that I need to prove *every* fossil (i.e., the "fossil-record") is fake in order to become convinced that *one subset* of those fossils (e.g., the mighty "T-Rex") is fake then I admit I cannot help you.
- Let us focus on the mighty "T-Rex" and leave the other so-called "dinosaurs" and fossils etc. out of it.
- *To reiterate*:
- 1. The mighty "T-Rex" indeed existed if there is a single genuine "T-Rex" bone.
- 2. If the mighty "T-Rex" did not exist then every presented "T-Rex" bone on display in every museum of the world must necessarily be fake and/or fraudulent.
- Can you agree with these two points or would you like to exit the conversation?
