Satoru Iwata (1959 - 2015) was a Japanese videogame programmer and the 4th president of Nintendo. He was very well known around the world due to his participation in the development of famous videogames such as Super Smash Bros, Kirby and Earthbound. In 1999, he compacted and freed memory from the original games of Pokémon Gold / Silver to introduce the region of Kanto, and a few years later he rewrote the whole code of Pokémon Red / Green without help in only a week to program Pokémon Stadium!
