  1. Life on Toril was at a time peaceful, and the residents as happy as any who must live a life in a meritocracy, where one's work establishes ones title and place. Where though one may be a King and the other the poor man at his gate. The poor man can one day himself rise with a Kingdom if he so chooses to set his will towards making such ends, true. As was the way of Faerun, the most active continent of Toril. But with so many striving so hard for a good way of life, left many more seeing chickens fattening themselves up to get plucked and roasted.

  3. And so it was as such on Faerun, those watching the rest get wealthy, grew dark with jealousy. Watching the once new arrival to the village, poor and lost, now with her own Barony, live as if she were a Princess, but was once a pauper. These new Princes and Princesses of Faerun drew the attention and ill will of the evil, and the lazy, and in their darkest moment of hate, they summoned Obudista, the Avatar of Hate, Prissa, the Avatar or Darkness, and the Avatar of Death, r4wkbot. These avatars summoned Dark Hero's to their side, both the living and the vampire dead: Heavy_Jazz, Gingiace, ckings2626, Retanaru, DanDooGood (who then was was absorbed by darkness could only do anything but good), the dreaded Yakuza lead by EvilByProxy, and others. They swarmed over Faerun leaving a trail of lava, TNT holes, blood soaked broken weapons, breached walls and dead bodies.

  5. Faerun had fallen to Darkness, far sooner than expected that even those who were raising armies for such attacks against the fabled city of Scornubel (once Valencia), were taken by surprise and left with an army to feed an no city of god to conquer.

  7. Jacob...He woke at night to the glowing radiance of an Avatar of light piercing his eyes lids and bring him out of sleep. As he stared at her glowing visage hovering above the floor of his sleeping shed, she reached out to him and in her hand was a leather bound tome, with golden glowstone runic markings on the cover. She handed Jacob the book, and spoke, “Leave now, do not look back, or you you will surely be taken by the vampire hordes from RavenLoft”. Jacob already knew in his heart nothing more need be said. He had dreamed all of his life, and prayed to all of the Gods for this day, and now that it was here, he felt empowered as though he drank of from the Chalice of the Gods.

  9. Gathering only what he could carry, calling for his brother to follow, Jacob answered no questions that his brother asked, only that he must be make a pilgrimage to KaraTur and that he had seen in his dream how.
  10.
  11. KaraTur was a lost land. It had splintered off from the rest of the world after the great War of Asgard 10,000 years ago, that created the cataclysm, which shut KaraTur away from all. During the War of Asgard, the death toll for Toril was too great, the death toll for the Gods, equally so. To stop these souls from being stolen by Lolth, Hades, and Bane, and Hecate, the Gods opposing them, Zeus, Helm, Torm, Mystra, and others, led by the Asgard All Father Odin, channeled the souls of all the fallen into a Planar World known as Gladsheim, but there were too many, the numbers to great that the Plane begin to break apart, and using all of his power, Odin, focused his remaining life force into stopping the destruction of Gladsheim and controlling its breaking apart so that the Planar World birthed a new planet into the Multiverse, born of the soul of Warriors, strife, battle, and conflict, a land of Champions and Death, the world of Ysgard.

  13. Jacob, would not bear witness to this world changing light show that to many meant the end of civilization, not the birth of two new ones. Jacob traveled through Gehenna (aka Nether), and had become lost for many days in the confusing terrain, under constant attack by the roaming demons that make their home their, Pig Zombie warriors, with their golden swords and magical armours, and the Banshee like Ghasts, hurling fireballs from great distances, often times unseen until striking. Jacob survived all of this. Never did he once feel the world of Toril shake and tear as the birth of Ysgard in Orbit of the Toril Tidal locked the planet into orbit around it's new Brother, Ysgard. The tidal forces created by the birth of Ysgard ripped thousands of miles of crust off nearly half the planet, revealing, what had been buried by a million years of wars of the Gods, KaraTur, it had been covered by debris and was preserved as an underground world, with new exciting landscapes, dungeons and more, yet to be discovered, and as Jacob reached the Gate in Gehenna that he felt was the exit from that Hellish plane, did he emerge onto the newly exposed continent of KaraTur.
  14.
  15. It was on KaraTur that Jacob would begin the Temple of Light, Monastery of Santatierra, and usher forward a new rise of light and all that is good on KaraTur to stem the tide of darkness and evil that attempted to follow Jacob from Faerun.
  16.
  17. To make sure such a loss of life in war could never affect Toril and Faerunians, or new KaraTurians again, the Gods combined their powers and formed bridges from the 2 continents into Ysgard arriving at the city of Bifrost, and with their magic, they cast such bindings and protective magics on the planet of Toril and the occupants on either side: Faerun, and KaraTur, are unable to murder one another unless on the world of Ysgard, where all their combat has since taken place. (** out of story: The new coder for the Rifts MMO Plugin has taken on the project on our behalf and is nearly finished with a fully modular and working version that compliments our world set up for Limited PVP and sieges on KaraTur and Faerun and full PVP on Ysgard).
