- A Strange Dream:
- There are many, many, MANY, worlds of magic, swords, and tales of heroes fighting demon lords across the multiverse. However among them there is one world that even the greatest empires in the known multiverse have been able to physically locate; indeed the Dimension Police, Ju-el, Kuhrai, and even the Croon Alliance have tried to locate it. That said this world can fairly easily, so long as one knows the ways or have found the relics that allow one to connect to it from the unknown ancient civilization that created them; connect to this world and go there in the form of avatars. In truth they can even connect to this world and draw from it, monstrous creatures; the Mystic Monsters. Controlling them however would be another story; for that reason permitting them access to a world is questionable, morally speaking; done as a way to destabalize a world or secretly release the monsters and convince the locals they need one's help to defend against them.
- All that said; this world, this ever expanding on its own world is clearly not a natural place. It obeys rules like a virtual reality multi player role playing game; even the avatars the world creates for those that connect to it have experience points, levels, and skill trees; it even has mystical random items and quests. The locals even are not fully sapient but rather advanced artificial intelligences that are physically something between the Mystic Monsters themselves and bio-androids; talking to them long enough would reveal they are limited. All that said, there are ways to enter this realm physically...but doing so destroys one's body and is replaced by the avatar; or they are turned into a Mystic Monster; methods to do so leaked to various magically inclined worlds as forbidden secrets of immortality. Some have even noted that parts of this world with their magically contained micro-ecosystems seem to somehow be copying, altering for scale, the video game landscapes of human fictional entertainment; even the monsters in many cases are clearly based on human fantasy and mythological archetypes; then again actual physical versions of many such creatures do exist in the multiverse.

- All that said, the Multi-verse empires have approached interaction with this world very differently. The Ju-el along with various species such as the Light Elves of Juhn, the Suihrai, and the Kuhrai regard the world as simply a game, and actively play in it by mentally connecting to it's dream state like interactivity. Creating avatars and becoming either heroes or villains there. They regard the (leaked) Mystic Monsters as a glitch as the "Inferverse" as it has come to be called to them clearly uses some ultra-tech super-ascended level of pocket dimension technology that uses the same unknown tech they also believe is responsible for the different magical systems existing across the multi-verse; a "Dimension Tech" beyond anything they can even use. The Ju-el believe the race that created it may in fact have given up their physical bodies and entered this realm themselves, hidden now among the various NPCs and monsters of the game; as well as likely some of the "heroes" and "adventurers"; existing forever in a dream like state.
- The Dimension Police however regard this world as a weapon testing site disguised as a game; regarding the Mystic Monsters as the most diabolical, false gods, type of tech. Many a "false god" has created artificial monsters to terrorize people only to defeat it themselves to claim godhood over them...something the Dimension Police themselves have done from time to time using the Mystic Monsters. They study this realm as best they can, connecting to it, sending specific agents in with specially developed scanning tools.
- This is a tale of one such officer.
