i have been thinking on and off that it might be cute if the reason shinji’s hips are so like, such a prominent part of him is actually because of the (1) clutch he actually fertilized and carried lmao. it was MANY MANY YEARS AGO but it was also many many eggs and shinji remembers it as a very miserable experience, where cu recalls it as a very non-stop horny experience. i think now that they have company he teases a little about it here and there to get shinji irritated and riled up, especially when it becomes obvious that it’s time for him to make more eggs!! shinji gets embarrassed because HE WANTS TO FORGET ABOUT IT, IT WAS MANY YEARS AGO but his body and cu both refuse to let him. stuff like “but you were so cute” “SHUT THE FUCK UP”

but that one clutch he carried all the way through is what helped make his body so cute and ambiguous and he was probably uncomfortable with it at first but now he is pretty dang confident and comfortable, even when he has so many tiny eggs appearing inside of him and making him curve outward a little. the way his outfit is there’s really no hiding it — so he is very business as usual until he feels uncomfortable or someone says something. to him it’s more of a nuisance, but it might be endearing to the others bc shinji is pretty cute when he’s grumpy and squirmy. aaa it would be cute if his chest swelled up a little and his nipples got puffy. showing through the fabric on his top and he’s trying to ignore all of it until he’s a breathy mess and he wants to keep it to himself but (screams) life is hard
