<Snowshoe> The flare drops into the darkness. After it falls about 300 feet, you see it bounce off another catwalk, then continue dropping. You eventually lose sight of it.
<lurkd> "Hold on, Eriko."  <<Lily?  Greg?  You there?>>
<PresidentEvil> <<...We're gonna need a bigger rope.>>
<lurkd> <<We are going to flip a switch, stand clear of the ladder.  You copy?>>
<PresidentEvil> <<Copy>> he says, standing back from the ladder. <<Whenever you're ready.>>
<lurkd> Elif flips the switch.  "Here goes nothing."  *click*
<Snowshoe> Lily and Greg, you see what look like emergency lights flick on on the level below. A dim red light illuminates the catwalk. It's hardly visible, but better than nothing.
<PresidentEvil> <<Okay, we've got some kind of emergency lights down there. Ladder's not moving though.>>
<Snowshoe> You still know nothing about what's inside 1-5.
<lurkd> "Well that's less than helpful."
<Alivi> Eriko sighs. "We should check back on 1-5..."
<Alivi> "Lets go Elif..."
<PresidentEvil> Greg squints at the emergency lights. What can he see?

<Snowshoe> You can make out what look like two doors, but not much else.
<lurkd> <<Guys we are leaving I-3 and headed to I-5.>>

<lurkd> "Ok, I'm ready."
<PresidentEvil> <<Roger, we'll meet you there.>>
<PresidentEvil> Greg hustles to 1-5.
<Snowshoe> All three arrive without incident.
<PresidentEvil> "Ready?"
<Alivi> Eriko sighs. "Make sure your masks are tight."
<Alivi> She opens the door.
<PresidentEvil> Greg sweeps the room.
<Snowshoe> It's absolutely silent inside the room. You see nothing but floor and a wall of ash.
<Snowshoe> You can see about twenty feet from where you're standing.
<Alivi> Eriko takes a hestiant step forward
<Alivi> "Greg can you cover me?"
<Alivi> She turns on her flashlight.
<PresidentEvil> Greg lights another flare and passes it to her. "Here, use this instead."
<lurkd> *cough*
<lurkd> ~I hate dust~
<Alivi> Eriko takes it and nods.
<lurkd> Elif follows Eriko closely.
<Snowshoe> Nothing jumps at Eriko. The flare only penetrates the ash slightly further than the flashlight, about 25 feet.
<PresidentEvil> Greg follows behind her, sweeping his gun back and forth. Jeez, this stuff is thick.
<Alivi> Eriko walks foward
<Snowshoe> What's Elif doing?
<lurkd> Within arm's reach to Eriko.
