- Adel Law
- This law establishes rules and regulations of the Danish nobility and heraldry.
- I. nobility and gentry
- In the Kingdom of Denmark is a nobility divided into two main groups: nobility and gentry.
- In among the nobility, the following titles:
- Duke / Duchess *
- Count / Countess
- Baron / Baroness
- * Duchies of Schleswig and Holstein will be added to the Kingdom of Denmark, which will allow the titles Duke / Duchess of Schleswig and Duke / Duchess of Holstein. But these titles will not be added until the duchies actually added to Denmark.
- Among the gentry, the following titles:
- Knight / Dame
- Lord / Lady *
- * The title of Lord / Lady can only be purchased for tokens in the game itself. The title exists only as long as the payment tokens for it. Kingdom of Denmark supports only Lord / Lady titles that follow this pattern "(player's name), Lord / Lady of (CITY), people with other unrealistic or already taken the Lord / Lady titles may not be prosecuted and punished, but the citizens of Denmark does not need respect their titles, nor treat them as noble.
- II. Len
- In among the nobility, it is possible to land with the title. If you get land together with the title, the title will be added prefix Lens. This is because the Kingdom of Denmark is divided into 44 so-called County (per January 21, 1459)
- For example: Count / Countess XXXX assigned county XXXXX, and therefore he / she will be indicted Count / Countess instead of Count / Countess. The same goes for the barons / baronesses (skull barons / lens baronesses) and dukes / duchesses (lenshertuger
- / Lens Duke of thousands).
- III. Marriage and inheritance
- The following rules for marriage and inheritance are among the nobility:
- It is not forbidden, to nobles and ordinary citizens to marry.
- If a male noble marries a normal female citizen, she will get the same title as her husband (whose husband is a land owner, her title does not include the prefix Lens-unless he officially makes her co-owner.).
- If a female noble marries a normal male citizen, he will not get the same title as his wife.
- If a male noble and womanly nobility marries, they will both retain their titles, and she will get the same titles as her husband (whose husband is a land owner, her title does not include the prefix Lens-unless he officially makes her co-owner.). The man may not use the wife's titles.
- As a rule inherit the firstborn county / lenene whether the firstborn is male or female. But land owners are allowed to write in his / her will, that another of his / her children will inherit county / lenene. If the land owner has no children, the county / lenene automatically proceed to the closest family member (brother / sister) and always the oldest. If there are no siblings, will the county / lenene proceed to the closest family member, for example. cousins, uncles, etc. If no family is will the county / lenene proceed to his / her partner (husband / wife). Is the land owner not related to anyone, will the county / lenene be given back to the king.
- As for female nobility who inherited / acquired land (len) from their husband, they can not give it to their future child with another man, instead it will be given back to the king. Land which she inherited from her family, can be passed to her eldest son / daughter when she dies. If she does not have a son or daughter, the rules that applied to male nobles did not come into force in place will the county / lenene be given back to the king.
- The title of Baron / Baroness, Count / Countess or hertuge / duchess will be automatically passed to all sons and daughters. If you have more than one title, these titles will be distributed to your children, given to them all or only some of them. You can also decide not to give your title / titles on to your children, but then the title will be lost and be returned to the king. Titles that her mother has inherited, does not follow these rules and will be automatically returned to the king.
- But the country which her mother has inherited, however, will be given to her heir. The new land without title can then be added to another barony, county or duchy after the heirs' request.
- Titles from the father may be given to all children. Land of the father can only be given to a child. If he has more than a province, they can be shared between the children and still only one of them. Titles from the mother will be lost. Land of the mother can be passed on to her child if she has more than a province, it may be distributed among her children or remain just one of them.
- Land inherited from the mother does not have a title, but should he / she will inherit a title from his / her father, this title is used for county inherited from the mother. But is this country can rise or fall in value, for example:
- A child inherits the title of Count from his / her father and a province without title from his / her mother. Mother's County was originally a barony, but now it is just land without title. But now he / she may choose to make the county a county. Conversely, should the county from the mother was a county and title from his father a baron, the county does not remain a county but instead be turned into a barony.
- Knight titles are not inherited, and a knight's wife is not a lady and a lady's husband is not a knight.
- IV. Adling
- Only the Crown (Queen, or if there is no VIP) may be noble citizens in nobility. This will be done by a role-play session at the Forum and the new nobility must swear allegiance to the King and Privy Council.
