Code Lyoko: Size Matters



	Kadic Academy is preparing for a science fair. In his dorm room, Jeremy Belpois is working on a new invention he plans to enter into said science fair. His friends Aelita Hopper, Odd Della Robbia, Ulrich Stern, and Yumi Ishiyama are in his dorm room as well. On the screen of Jeremy's labtop, they are watching Aelita's stepbrother Michael, and his friend Bromley Lansfeur, as they fly across the sectors of Lyoko.

	"Any luck on finding Franz Hopper?", Jeremy asks Michael. Franz is Michael's and Aelita's father, though they have different mothers. He's been lost on Lyoko for some time.

	"None yet", Michael responds, "You lot shutting off the supercomputer after you rescued that William guy and thought you destroyed XANA didn't help. Not only was XANA too widespread by that point for your whatever-it-was to destroy it, We could have lost dad forever when you shut the supercomputer off". He's referring to when Jeremy and his team rescued their friend William Dunbar from XANA and the Jeremy had uploaded a multi-agent program that he thought had wiped out XANA for good. They had shut the supercomputer off afterword. Michael's supercomputer (located in the basement of the Hoppers' house) detected Franz's supercomputer being shut down, so Michael had immediately gone to the factory and turned it back on. Naturally, XANA launched an attack a short time later. Michael crossed paths with Aelita on Lyoko and helped her deactivate a tower. A short time later, Michael had recruited Milly Solovieff, Tamiya Diop, and Katie Morales to form his own team of Lyoko Warriors. Katie's father Jim, who happens to be Kadic's gym coach, ended up going to Lyoko too. Bromley, who had been a childhood rival of Michael's, was temporarily controlled by XANA before joining Michael's team.

	"By the way, what are you making for the science fair?", Michael asks Jeremy. Michael, being a graduate of Kadic Academy, knows when certain events take place there during the school year.

	"A combination shrink and growth ray", Jeremy explains. He picks up a raygun device lying beside his laptop. Odd's dog Kiwi runs into the room. Jeremy zaps the dog with his ray and Kiwi shrinks down to the size of a mouse. Next, Jeremy flips a switch on the side of the device and zaps the dog again, returning Kiwi to his normal size.

	"I can think of some good uses for that thing", Odd remarks. Sissi Delmas appears in Jeremy's doorway.

	"I take it you nerds are gonna enter something in the science fair", she remarks. Odd promptly grabs the ray device from Jeremy, flips the switch back, and zaps Sissi. She instantly shrinks down to the size of a mouse. Odd picks her up.

	"I think I like Sissi this way", Odd jokes.

	"Reminds me of the dolls I had when I was younger, and of Hiroki's action figures" Yumi adds.

	"Anyway, we better return Sissi to normal and get going. It's time for lunch", Jeremy suggests. He zaps Sissi with the ray device, returning her to her normal size. She slaps Odd and then runs off. Jeremy sets the device down beside his laptop and everyone heads to the cafeteria.

	After they leave, a black ghostly smoke emerges from a power outlet: one of XANA's spectres. It scans the ray device, then returns to the power outlet. On Lyoko, The blue light around a tower in the desert sector turns red. In the computer lab at the factory, the scanners activate. They close and then open again.

	"Jeremy, you should have brought your ray device with you. These food portions are way too small", Odd jokes.

	"I'd rather not let the whole school know about it until the science fair", Jeremy points out. After lunch, they return to Jeremy's dorm to see a notification on the screen of Jeremy's laptop, indicating an activated tower on Lyoko.

	"If Michael and Bromley are already on Lyoko, why hasn't Michael deactivated the tower by now?", Ulrich ponders.

	"Maybe XANA captured them or devirtualized them before Michael could", Aelita suggests.

	"I'm pretty sure if they'd been devirtualized, they'd have called", Jeremy points out. The five of them head for the factory. Before they get very far, they spot an army of XANA's monsters heading for Kadic. The Scyphozoa is leading them.

	"Looks like XANA's going for an all-out invasion of Earth", Yumi remarks.

	"There's no way we can get past that many monsters. We'll have to use Michael's supercomputer at the hermitage", Jeremy suggests, "Yumi, take Odd and get everyone out of Kadic. I'll send Ulrich and Aelita to Lyoko to deal with the tower and find Michael and Bromley".

	Back at Kadic, Milly and Tamiya notice the approaching monsters. As the girls had out to confront the monsters, Sissi approaches them.

	"What are a couple of small fry like you gonna do against those things?", Sissi teases. Milly and Tamiya ignore Sissi and rush headlong into the army of monsters. One of the monsters hits Sissi with a laser.

	Jeremy, Aelita, and Ulrich arrive at the Hermitage to find Katie at the controls of Michael's supercomputer.

	"The activated tower is in the desert sector. I lost contact with Michael and Bromley when the tower was activated. The were heading to Sector 5 at the time", Katie explains. Jeremy takes over the controls, and Katie heads to the scanner room with Ulrich and Aelita.

	"Transfer: Ulrich, transfer: Aelita, transfer: Katie. Scanner: Ulrich, scanner: Aelita, scanner: Katie. Virtualization!", Jeremy declares. The three of them materialize onto Lyoko's desert sector. They quickly spot the activated tower and two Megatanks in front of it. As they approach the tower, one of the Megatanks hits Aelita with a lazer beam. Aelita suddenly grows until she's as tall as the tower.

	"I won't be able to fit into the tower to deactivate it", Aelita realizes.

	Back at Kadic, Yumi and Odd try to warn everyone about the approaching army of monsters. They notice that the monsters are firing off lasers that either shrink what they hit or enlarge what they hit. Yumi calls Jeremy.

	"The monsters are using shrink and enlarge rays, just like your science fair project", Yumi explains.

	"XANA must have somehow been able to replicate my device and used it to upgrade its monsters", Jeremy responds, "The ones guarding the tower enlarged Aelita so she's too big to fit into the tower. Katie says Michael and Bromley were heading for Sector 5 when he tower was activated. I need you and Odd here so I can send you two to sector 5 to find them. We need Michael to deactivate the tower", Jeremy explains.

	Milly and Tamiya rush back into the school.

	"There's two many of them", Tamiya remarks. The girls hide in a classroom.

	"The monsters seem to be armed with lasers that make things smaller or bigger. Maybe we could trick them into making us bigger", Milly suggests. Milly hears someone squealing and feels something squirming around under her. She stands up to find a shrunken Sissi in the chair. Milly had sat on her by accident.

	"Sorry", Milly apologizes.

	"We better do something with her before someone else accidentally sits on her", Tamiya suggests. Milly picks Sissi up and puts Sissi in one of her pants pockets. As they step out of the classroom, something runs into Tamiya's left leg. Tamiya looks down to find Coach Jim, also shrunk, at her feet. Milly puts Jim in her other pants pocket. The girls run to their dorm room. Milly pulls a dollhouse out from under her bed and puts Sissi and Jim inside it.

	"They'll be safe in there", Milly reasons, "Now, let's go stop those monsters". The girls rush off out of the room. Odd and YUmi happen to pass by the room as they are heading out of the school. They notice Sissi and Jim in Milly's dollhouse and can't help laughing a bit before walking away.

	Outside, Milly and Tamiya notice a Tarantula firing a laser that shrinks a bush. As the monsters alternate between shrinking and enlarging, they know the next laser it will fire will enlarge what it hits. The girls jump in the Tarantula's path as it fires again and find themselves enlarged to 50 feet tall. Unfortuantly, a Kankrelat charged at them as the Tarantula fired and is caught in the crossfire and enlarged as well. Odd and Yumi make it outside and see the giant Kankrelat, Milly, and Tamiya. The Kankrelat begins crawling towards town. Yumi calls Jeremy back.

	"We got a big problem here. Does "Attack of the 50ft Kankrelat" mean anything to you?", Yumi remarks.

	"Can you keep it from wrecking the place?", Jeremy asks.

	"Not to worry", Jeremy hears Odd say, "We have our best pair of 50ft tall reporters on the scene".

	"He means Milly and Tamiya aren't such small fry anymore", Yumi adds.

	"Then, leave stopping the Kankrelat to them and get over hear as fast as you can", Jeremy insists.

	"You thinking what I'm thinking?", Odd teases. He runs up to giant Milly and climbsup the side of her pants leg. Yumi climbs up it as well. The two of them climb all the way up to Milly's shoulder.

	"Hey Milly!", Odd yells, "Jeremy needs us at the hermitage pronto. Think you can drop us off over there". Milly holds out her arm, and the two of them run down it to Milly's palm. she lowers her hand down in front of the hermitage, dropping Odd and Yumi off on the front porch.

	"Thanks. Now go crush that Kankrelat", Odd yells. He and Yumi hurry down to the basement. Jeremy starts to send them to Sector 5, but then Michael and Bromley emerge from a Way Tower on the desert sector.

	"We got lost in sector 5 and then XANA's Creepers attacked in large numbers. It took us forever to fight our way through them all and reach a Way Tower.", Michael explains.

	Jeremy materializes Odd and Yumi onto the desert sector. Ulrich is devirtualized by a Megatank and 3 more Megatanks arrive on the scene as Aelita crushes the other of the first two. One of them zaps Katie, devirtualzing her. Bromley, Odd, and Yumi attack the Megatanks while Michael heads into the tower. Inside, he presses his hand on a prompt screen. "MICHAEL" appears on it, followed by "CODE LYOKO".

	"Tower deactivated", Michael confirms.

	"Return to the past, now!", Jeremy announces. Bright white light covers the hermitage, the factory, the school, and the entire city. Milly and Tamiya managed to stop the Kankrelat before it made it into town. they had also crushed a few other monsters underfoot along the way.

	Jeremy is showing the Lyoko Warriors his project for the science fair. Sissi walks in on them.

	"I take it you nerds are gonna enter something in the science fair", Sissi remarks. Odd starts to reach for Jeremy's ray device, but stops. He'd already been through this once.

	"None of your business, Sissi", Odd remarks. Sissi walks away. Later, at the science fair, Jeremy's size-change ray wins first prize.
