Hello Prof.Martins,

I was talking to Andrew Sablehaus at a meeting of oSTEM a day ago, and he mentioned that he's doing robotics work with, including working with microbots, and you eventually plan to start working with swarming robotics. When I told him that robotics was a passion of mine he prompted me to get in touch with you for research or other relevant opportunities. I've been interested in robotics for a long while, and have been, over the years, learning and applying various facets of the field, and am hoping I could put what i've learned into practice. Control theory, information theory, and decision theory have also long been interests of mine, but i'll readily admit my knowledge is shallow in all of those fields.

Between Andrew's recommendation and a quick run through of your research interests, it seems as if i'd learn a lot from you, and I'm hoping you have use for someone who's very excited about the same fields you work with.
