- Clown's form is that of a mound of black flesh in a faceless humanoid shape, with two unrealistically large red devil horns on his head, each one being about as long as an arm. He has a very tiny red skull where his nose would be, which cackles with a shrill voice whenever Clown would laugh. Each of his fingertips are a bright red color, and can shapeshift and merge, taking on forms such as tentacles, chainsaws, tentacle chainsaws, umbrellas, and a small fluffy puppy named Gertrude. His body is as durable as steel, and on the few times that it has been sliced open, it creates an inky black void where the cut is for only a second, before the nearest organic matter (from anything to vegetation from human skin) to the cut is grabbed by many tendrils, has a piece cut out of it shaped like the cut, and then it is forced where the wound was, fusing with the rest of his body to become black flesh within seconds.
- Clown does not speak, but he seems to be friendly, and often stays near Carol when he perceives her as being in a dangerous area, such as in on the streets at night in unfamiliar towns. He always knows the location of any member of the troupe, regardless of how far they are and in which plane of existence they are on, and can appear to them in an instant, though he will only do so if he thinks that they would otherwise die.
- However, lines made out of salt, cinnamon, sugar, or balloons blocks everything that he can do; he is unable to pierce the line and anything above or below it with his fingers, he cannot walk through it, cannot appear to teleport through it, or anything of the sort. If any of these substances are rubbed into one of his wounds, it will pulsate but be unable to regenerate or pull organic matter in to heal itself, until the substance is removed.
- Clown loves jokes. He carries a joke book around with him, and turns his fingertips into letters to tell the jokes. If he tells a joke that does not make people laugh, Clown becomes very sad and disappointed with himself, but he can be easily cheered up by either telling him a joke of your own, or by laughing at a different joke that he will tell.
