  1. Emmy pulled Dan up over the cliff face as he reached the top of the rope. The sun was still rising in the sky, rapidly approaching noon. Bidawrih stood at the top of the cliff face, still panting. "So, I see..." he took a deep breath, straightening up and wiping away the sweat from his brow "you guys opted to run too." The lads gave him various looks of disapproval while working on catching their own breath. "Uh, sorry. I didn't plan to meet my end by at the hands of a bunch of dirty goblins, Shai keep us." He held up his newly acquired staff, the odd water above the staff moving with magical energy, smiling for a brief moment. "Plus we got this thing. Whatever it is."

  7. "Druid magic is odder than any other, not many understand it. Hell even ranger folk don't much understand exactly how the druids operate." Bidawrih shrugged his shoulders. "Anyway, I'll be heading north to the road and going back to the chapel of Shai in Tahrir. Thank you again for getting me out of that cage. May Shai bless your travels." With that, the gnome turned to leave.
